He‘s asking if he can install Snowie on more than one PC. For all I remember when I was a subscriber, it can be installed on several computers, but it lets you only log in on one computer at a time.

Snowie coming out with an "exciting" upgrade on 6th March. Hope it's being able to display ranges the way pio does.

Anybody else having trouble with Snowie crashing and unable to connect today? Seems like it has to be related to their upcoming changes, email said there may be some issues until the update happens. It's pretty much unusable for me today.

Does Snowie's strategy adjust depending on the stake? Is it entirely a function of rake?

Preflop changes a lot depending on the rake and postflop changes correspondingly to the different preflop ranges.

Snowie seems to try very hard to avoid having a capped range in bvb spots - it raises and reraises a ridic amount of the time but it doesn't seem bothered about generating fold equity so it uses these small sizings even the 1/4 pot clickbacks which I find amusing
With antes it's quite funny in a 100bb stacks pot fullring if the sb limps then the bb minraises 100% of hands ?!? If the sb raises 3x then the bb reraises half pot very very wide including like top 50% of hands plus a high freq of complete garbage offsuit hands as well . Maybe 70%+ of hands in total get reraised . Of course it then has to defend wide against 4bets etc and 5bets wide so it ends up having this crazy 3bet/4bet/5bet/6bet ranges which are completely unrealistic in real games

It's just a consequence of antes. In a sense if it gets folded to BvB in a full ring 12.5% ante game both players have already won. At that point you can almost click any button with any hand and still be massively plus ev, just because there's so much dead money and equities run so close.

Seems like a pretty good indication that the population plays full ring ante BvB spots too passively. I think snowie's super aggro style would actually do very well in practice.

Does the mobile app allow you to set scenarios or does it just allow you to play a session against the AI?

Who can confirm?

Hi,

PokerSnowie recommends to opne-raise on BTN with 1/4pot sizing and with following range =>

Can anyone please tell me how to interpret following sizings?
  • 1/4 POT
  • 1/2 POT
  • POT
  • 2 POT

Thank you!

Are you asking what "1/4 pot" and "1/2 pot" etc refers to? "pot" is the size of the pot. So 1/4 pot means "one fourth the size of the pot"

What does"1/4 pot" in PokerSnowie mean?

For example, preflop pot size raise we calculate => [ 3 * big blind + small blind] = 3.5bb

So if PokerSnowie has "1/4 pot" size raise then as I understand 3.5*1/4 = 0,875 bb, which means that opening range that
PokerSnowie suggests is not applicable, since in game smallest raise size we can use is 2x, so what am I missing here, or misunderstanding?

It doesn't work quite like this. The size of a pot-sized raise here is 2.5BB on top of current action of 1BB, for a total of 3.5BB. When we calculate a raise sizing as the fraction of the pot, f, we would take 1+(f*2.5). So for a pot-sized raised this is 3.5BB, for 1/2 it is 2.25BB, and for 1/4 it is 1.625BB. It is not actually legal for snowie to raise to 1.625BB, so it is rounded up to the minimum.

Yes,as preflop open actually u can't bet 1/4 pot but minimum which is 2bb or 0.4pot.U can use that size when Snowie recomends 1/4 pre flop.
