I think dropping $60-80 on a night is bit expensive to be able to buyin, re-buy and get a addon or 2 add-ons if available.

I could just not rebuy or don't get a addon. I'm probably at a disadvantage doing this.

I want to play a $1500 mtt. Would saving $20-$30 a week be more ev than playing every week for $20 at a pub and potentially winning $250 1st, $150 2nd, or $100 for third with around 20 players maybe entering?

I'm going to spend $1000 in a year on buy-ins with 50 tournies been played.

can i win $1500 or more playing in these games or am i better off saving the $20 and put that towards the bigger tourny? winning the $20 tourny 6 times out of 50 would get me there. have to win it around 10-15% of the time.

I want to play with the sharks in my country and the sharks seem to be playing in the bigger buy-in mtts.
