How does ICM affect the EV edges we're willing to take with a short stack?

Here is the HH I'm basing my questions on:

PokerStars - 8000/16000 Ante 1600 NL - Holdem - 9 players

BB: 110,690 (6.9 bb)
UTG: 566,961 (35.4 bb)
UTG+1: 545,606 (34.1 bb)
MP: 490,622 (30.7 bb)
Hero (MP+1): 178,968 (11.2 bb)
MP+2: 233,147 (14.6 bb)
CO: 493,924 (30.9 bb)
BTN: 304,126 (19 bb)
SB: 894,255 (55.9 bb)

9 players post ante of 1,600, SB posts 8,000, BB posts 16,000

Pre Flop: (pot: 38,400) Hero has 5 5
fold, UTG+1 raises to 32,000, fold, Hero ?

#1 We have 11bb very close to the money bubble.
55 is a +0.23 chip EV shove

#2 We have 5bb very close to the money bubble.
55 is a +0.25 chip EV shove

#3 We have 11bb right after the money bubble. There are quite a few players left until the next pay jump.

#4 We have 5bb right after the money bubble. There are quite a few players left until the next pay jump.

#5 We have 11bb but there's quite a few players left before the money bubble.

#6 We have 5bb but there's quite a few players left before the money bubble.

The Closer you are to the bubble the stronger ICM gets, obviously.

How It affects you depends on how many other players are likely to bust before you, so if youre the shortest stack you probably want to look for any EV Edge since you are kinda ****ed if you wait around. While if there are some players shorter than you you suddlently want to wait for them make moves and go bust, so un this example the 5bb stack close to Bubble Will be much more aggressive than the 11bb one
