GTO Spots, how to calculate which hands to call?

Hi, I've got a question, I post it in mid-high stakes players forum because this seemed like the best place to do it on twoplustwo.
I thought I learned when I play vs an unknown I can use a GTO calling range.
"If player A bet 2/3 of the pot, I have to call 60% of my range to make him indifferent to bluffing'' Does this always work? And on every street?
And how should I implement his range and the board in to this concept? Or do I do not even have to think about that and just call 60% of my range on a certain board?

You're asking about something called the "minimum defence frequency", which has been debated a lot. There are tons of threads about it in the theory forum. Just search for "MDF".
