Confused how to calculate overfolding percentage

The pot is 10bb and we have 10 combos in our range
We face a 2,5bb bet, according to minimum defence frequency we need to defend 80% of our range, thus our continuation range would consist off of 8 combos
We make a mistake and continue with 7 combos, thus folding 3 combos instead of 2, thus we are overfolding
So having all that how can we correctly estimate our overfolding persentage?
1. We had 10 combos, we should've continue with 8 and we continued with 7, so we overfolded 10%?
2. Or if 8 combos is 100% of our continuation range then 7 combos would be 87,5% of that 8 combos thus we overfolded 12,5%?
3. Or if we need to fold 2 cobos and we folded 3 we overfolded 50% (as 2-100% needed amount of combos to fold)?
4. Or if we folded 3 cmbs (100%) and we should've folded 2 we overfolded 33%?
I don't even know if all of this is any usefull, I personally was useing the second method to caculate my diviations from minimum defence frequency as overfolding or overcalling persentages.
Is that correct and is all that of any use?

2 and 3 are correct in the sense that the change is expressed relative to the base value.
The question in general though is it doesn't really matter how you define "overfolding percentage" as it's not something that is commonly used. Basically all that matters is you know whether you overfold or not.

The 2nd metric makes the most sense to me.
