I could tell you Snowie's strategy for this spot (see below), with the proviso that it won't necessarily be useful for the game you're playing (vs your typical opponents), but it will give you an idea of the general principles.
Assuming you're checking the flop about 80% of the time, then a decent check-raising range (using half pot for the sizing) is going to be comprised mostly of sets for value and flush draws (including TP+FD) and 76s as semi-bluffs. You want to raise hands that have
robust equity vs villain's continuance range (because you don't want to bloat the pot OOP and be barreling with no chance of sucking out). It would likely be a mistake to go extremely polarized and raise some complete nonsense hands, because the BTN isn't going to fold at an exploitable frequency.
In short, you need some solid equity. Monsters and big draws (8 outs+) have that solid equity. If you go with a bigger size, you probably need to be even stronger in this spot (so you'd have an even lower raising frequency than 6%), as there aren't a whole lot of hands in your range that want to play for stacks.
Snowie's raising strat for this spot at 100NL:
(There are a few more FDs, plus 76s and 87s, that are beyond the scrollbar).
Note that some of those check-raising combos are c-bet at some frequency, so it's not as if
all the sets and all the draws always check and always raise (some sets check-call too). There's a
lot of mixing.
As always, if you put the spot into Pio or another solver and provide different ranges for the player than Snowie expects, you'll get a different strategy. Hope this helps!
