Day 1 online on second level. 15 min clock.

I usually try playing hands slow early on but sometimes I wonder whether I can get more value.

New to table and I know nothing about villain except for the below.

Table is 6 handed. The previous hand I am UTG with A5 suited. I make it 2.2bb's and villain in CO calls, as does SB. Flop: K 5 7 rainbow. SB checks, I bet 2bb's, CO calls. Turn is 3. I check, villain bets 8.19 bb's, I think then fold.

The very next hand I am in BB with Jacks. Villain makes it 2 bb's. His stack is 125 bb's. Folds to me and I have 117 bb's. The old me maybe flats and tries to keep the pot small unless I make a hand. However, I am allowed 1 re-entry and this makes a bit of a difference. I reraise to 7 bb's. Villain now makes it 25 bb's.

Does anyone know the standard/best line now since we do not know anything about villain?

Thanks.

Even the solver doesn't know what to do with jacks in that spot. Haha. It mixes call, fold and all-in.

This chart is for a 100 BB cash game with rake (the tournament charts I use only go up to 80 BB). It should be pretty close to the spot you were in, but in a tournament without rake you're slightly more incentivised to call.

It's worth noting that the sizing you're facing is large for a 4-bet in position.

I would default to a fold if your opponent hasn't been getting out of line. 9 times out of 10 in live poker where opponents don't 4-bet enough this action indicates something like QQ+ and maybe AK.

I like your 3-bet though. You're not going to face a 4-bet often in that spot.

You are 120bb deep, your 3bet from BB is way too small!

If the villain open minimum 2bb you should just 5x to 10bb for sure... Now villain 4bets big, I don't think you can call. If the villain is capable of having 4bet bluffs then just shove and hope he folds or calls with AK.

But the villain is getting amazing price to call because of your small 3bet but he still chooses to 4bet so it might be premium, but even then it feels like AK.

I would 3b to 12bb at the minimum with the JJ. I am not raising A5s utg. Wait a minute so its a 3 way pot and it looks you are playing against 2 fish. I would check fold the flop. If it is 2 regulars I would probably run 3 barrels on this board texture. We block sets and 2 pair combos is unlikely from regulars to have any 2 pairs on this board. We also can rep AK plus and KK/55/77 and even if a reg has K its hard to call 3 streets with it. They are 3b AK so I would just go 3 barrels on regs. They basically have to have set of 5s/7s to call down. But fish have ranges that are very wide and since its a call from co and sb pretty sure they are just fish playing and they wont fold K and they can have weird hands like K5s, 46s or 57s type hand that a reg would not play vs your utg range. They don't really think about ranges so doesn't matter what you are repping. This is player dependent kind of spot on whether you bet or not.

A5s is definitely a chipEV raise from UTG, you could fold A3/A2/A6/A7 if its full ring.

A5s is a raise in that spot. Folding is generally a mistake.

The question was about the next hand with Jacks after I get reraised pre.
