Probably too simple of a question but not sure how to solve,

Let's say flop goes x/x. Our opponent is oop and leads at y frequency w/ z sizing. If we are facing that bet ott at y, and we know our opponent will only bet the river with an underbluffed range (or checks and loses), how frequent must our opponent end up betting the river to make us better off folding the turn to a certain z sizing? Is it simply 1-(how much equity we need to call given z sizing) ? Or must we also consider y (assuming opponents range polarized ofc).

So just so I understand:

Flop:

X/X

Turn:
Villain bets Z at Y frequency

If hero calls
River:
Villain bets river with an unbalanced range so we always fold

Hero always wins when villain checks

If opponents range is completely polarized, it is 1-(how much equity we need to call given z sizing), just like you said.
If he's not completely polarized, he can check back river a bit more.
