Ok so I had thought of this previously. This is extrapolating so I can see where you may have thought I wasn't making a good point, I just hadnt mentioned it thus far haha. If it goes past the point where the amount of BBs exceeds the collecting of the blinds from GTO play vs other GTO play, youd need to go post-flop GTO play from the human.

I had thought of that but hey, i didnt mention it so you got me there. but even just making it to the flop on different boards, shoving properly or raising to normal amounts perse the flop GTO play, you could just analyse the position and come up with the conclusion that the GTO player on the backfoot from the aggresion will lose.

all in all, the player who has the strategy that is better will better implement the gto game trees which could make up 99.9x infinite of play, but that little percent matters. thats where aggression comes in. You could say this but in terms of human play, thinking equally in terms of math and strategy i would argue is bringing the two elements humans can use, left brain and right brain, logical and emotional, math and art, just in terms of practicality.

computers need to solve for aggresion, using human models of behaviour to figure that out. possible using math i agree

edit: Balanced play in theory is optimal vs exploitative play, but it takes a legitimate computer to balance your play, which isnt possible for humans which I assume we all play with humans to make money. If we had to make bets if I could win against a computer I would put my money else where lmaooooo but its nice to think about exploitative play vs gto realms of play.

floppedaset, I'm trying not to be rude here, but you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. You've obviously never used a solver and don't seem to understand what GTO is. You come in with sweeping generalizations without a clue how any of this works.

Your first post explained how solvers were imperfect, but you hadn't even bothered to google how they work before coming in with huge sweeping generalizations.

I just looked up how poker solvers work, and they mainly do a range analysis instead of pure math based, which seems weird to me.
Why not research GTO and actually use a solver before injecting the forum with your misguided theories?

they uh solve poker. this is poker theory. theres only one way to solve it. what intricacies do you need to know to know how to drive a car if your not putting one together. winning is winning

OP: "Modern solvers are imperfect. GTO can be beaten"

Do you have any idea how a solver works?

OP: "No"

Can you explain to us what you think GTO is?

OP: "No"

Then why make this post?

A good approximation to GTO won't be human exploitable to a degree you can make a profit except by luck. There are millions of approximate GTO strategies that have low exploitability and you will likely not ever be able to get a good enough sample size to find an exploitable strategy.
