I'm afraid to say I didnt go for any of the above plans and took a shot at the 25k GTD and took it down, so now I have $8.3k
Last time I won something of this size was before Christmas in a $50 rebuy. Anyhow, as is always needed I ran good from around 20 players out which is always key. I find I have been running bad at this stage recently and bubbling FT's because of it.
A key hand - 18 players left - I have raised the previous 3 hands and defended/taken down blinds. Playing 300k in 1stP I raise to 18k at (3000/6000) with KK, an active player reraises from MP playing 300k, I decide to smooth call for 60k total ( I dont want to give away the strength of my hand, if A comes - it comes, I'm willing to risk that to get his whole stack. ) Flop 852 rainbow , I raise 20k, he repops to 120k and I move allin. He flips 99 and I take down a 600k+ flop. From here in the cards flowed nicely and I feel I ran over the tables quite well raising 90% of hands when we were 5/6 handed to chip up to 900k for FT. FT went all according to plan and at 4:30 am I took down $8.3k for first after turning a str8 HU.
Now, any suggestions on how to turn this $8k into $80k in 6 weeks?
