Push/fold charts - How to calculate stacks (include blinds or not?) Push/fold charts - How to calculate stacks (include blinds or not?)

Hello everyone,

I am currently trying to improve my spin&go play and am using the push/fold charts (Nash Equilibrium) to do so. However, it might come as a silly question, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere : do we have to include blinds when assessing our stack size or not ?

For example : in heads up play, I am facing an all in from the button (SB) holding 96o with a stack of 3.8 blinds after posting the BB. So I have 4.8 blinds BB included. The chart says I should call with 4.2 blinds or less. Instinctively, I would include the blind in my stack calculation and fold. But can you confirm it is correct ?

Many thanks in advance.

Yes you count the blind.

Push/fold charts are probably a good starting point but they're not NE in any spot where you want to have a limping or smaller raise range, or where your opponent wants to. I don't know this format very well but I know that there are stack sizes where BU wants to have a limping range. I think there are spots where NE has limp/min-raise/shove ranges at the same time.
