Can someone please explain in another way how these numbers (in the red square) resulted? maybe with another example? I can't seem to figure out the math...
I'm not a person who absorbs maths well. I'm more of a logic/visual person. So nothing really made sense until I got a solver and could see the EV flying around per street within the range itself.
The red box is just the raw application of pot odds spread out backwards across the three streets. In essence these are the main laws governing how we should play our range if we take pot odds as absolute, but it's extremely abstract and poorly explained in that article. Don't sweat it.
