Can anyone point me to some resources on how to use Pio Edge for preflop solving? I am looking to input a 3bet range for eg SB v BTN, and find BTN's response (4bet or flat) to the assumed range.

I've messed around with both and I'd highly recommend simple preflop instead of Pio for preflop solves (even though tbh they're both very unfriendly to use and there's not a lot of resources out there to help you)

Pio edge really isn't the best tool for this. I prefer HRC Beta for preflop solves. But you can make it work in Pio.

Enter the BTN open and SB 3bet range. Make a tree that forces BTN to open and SB to 3bet. Enter the money in the pot. Select a flop subset (around 100 flops will be accurate enough). Create a very simple postflop betting tree on the bottom right. Build tree. Then go to the postflop tab and select go.

Be prepared to let it run for a long time. Maybe a day or more.

Just FYI, you can find free preflop ranges on GTO Wizard. You just need to make an account. No need to resolve all preflop ranges yourself, this information is publically known nowadays.

Just something to add is that including rake and adjusting the preflop sizings for the 4b or the overall stack depth will have reasonably large influences on the output
