I can't really find too much about what type of range to iso.

Is there a set % of our normal range that we should raise when someone limps in front of us?

Sort of depends on some things

1. Positions

2. How fishy the limper is

3. How aggressive the players behind you are

Oh for sure there are variables, but let's say

UTG limps and you are in MP.
Your normal opening range in MP is 230 combos give or take.

Assuming all other factors are unknown. Is there a baseline % of those 230 combos that we would use to iso?

Then we could widen or tighten that range when we know more about those other factors. Same way we would adjust our normal ranges based on the information we gather while we play.

I'd do a pretty normal range but maybe slightly tighter... So might iso like 17% of hands which is more like a utg rfi. This would be readless. In games with competent regs behind you get squeezed quite a lot in this spot and in that spot might be a decent bit tighter.

Imo there’s 2 classes of limpers:
A too tight
B too loose

And there’s really not much in between.
So u should just classify the limper and proceed with the exploit.

Trying to assume that the limper is a good player limping a reasonable range so we should raise some optimal range just isn’t that realistic because people who limp are just bad 90%+ of the time.
