i know bots exist on poker aps, ive seen them and usually avoid them. today i swear i was sitting some one.. or some thing.. that clearly wasn't human, but at the same time seemed really BAD/ dumb.

my question is, does anyone know if these bots are TRULY gto? Or are they only as good as the re-tard who programmed them?

it was noteworthy that in a ~600 hand HU sample size it would cb FULL RANGE 33% pot, then follow up with a larger TBET ~80% of the time, every time it X turn it was dead in the water and i could 100% stab riv profitably... i just float float stabbed 100% of the time and it never adjusted

the ~50% river bet freq was usually merge -nutted the majority of the time, but if i ever hit nuts and i reJAM it would snap me off with like 2p on a straight/flush board (again, merging, no clear blocker / polarizing / thinking) like 400 bigs deep way WAY more frequently than id ever expect any sane person to do. Never caught it polarizing other than arguably barreling 42cc on a spade flush board..which probably isn't even the ideal blocker hand there *Shrug*

like its lines were SO predictable, i just float full range to riv and assess , rejam value and get snap called print.

SO, are these
A. a gto bot with a simplified strat of 100% cb , and my sample size allowed me to win
B. a bot some mongoloid programmed, thats obviously exploitable

any insight would be appreciated , since some people swear these bots suck/ others avoid them like the plague .

Google shankybots. They're not GTO bots, they're lazily coded if-then algorithms.

GTO bots do exist but are much rarer due to the complexity involved - they are orders of magnitude stronger than these monstrosities.

interesting, i don't know anything about them other than they exist.

so you conclusively think theyre exploitable? who would pay for such a thing

and i HAVE seen bots that take very complex lines and are very unpredictable.. i wonder if those are the real deal

omg i just found the bot profiles on that site u linked. can u imagine the bloodbath if i buy the profiles, figure out which one is sitting me Hu and exploit to the max??

only downside is that they may be customized, this could be a blood orgy where i single handedly take on a Filipino bot ring and emerge rock hard

I believe there are a lot of bots on acr. There bunch of Russian accounts that play similar strategy, with some weird PF range, postflop they are quite solid they don't play as straight forward as your opponent and are winning like 4-5bb on NL25 and NL50

Maybe the bots actually win against the pool in general? No clue.

maybe. they probably suck worse in HU ,too, since tendencies become so obvious so quickly
