GTOWizard Just launch simplified solutions. Primarily in order to reduce the number of sizes available on each street. But I haven't yet found at spot where the solution implements an overbet.
Am I wrong about his notice?

The Simplified Solutions only have a 33% c-bet size on the flop. This is just the size we gave that player, it's not necessarily optimal.

Many players preach just using a one-size flop strategy for simplification purposes. The simplified player just doesn't have the option to overbet the flop, although they can overbet the turn and river. Here's an example:

Note that GTO Wizard has acquired Ruse AI, so next month, you'll be able to automatically simplify any spot to the most optimal one-size strategy.

This is huge news for GTOw and should be a massive boon for all users.

I'm currently running flop solves that only have 33% and 125% options. Just so I could *possibly* include overbets on flops. Though I have no idea if this is even a good idea. Just curious to see if anything worthwhile comes of it.

Any chance you have or know anyone who has run this sim? Or have an opinion on it?

Looking forward to the new ruse stuff on GTOW.

Imho, using one size for ALL flops is taking it one step too far.
Using one size PER flop is very reasonable, though.
Personally I simplify to 33%, 67% or 125% PER flop.

Also, why is the 0.58x pot size included on the turn in the simplified version?
I think turns can be simplified to one size PER turn as well, especially in this case.

Then using 1 or 2 sizes PER river, depending on the situation.

Interesting. How is the optimal one-size strategy calculated?

1) Calculating using different one-size strategies and comparing EV?
2) AI guessing?
3) Most frequently used size?
4) Weighted average of sizes?

Yeah I agree; it's oversimplified. But that's what users wanted. Trying to optimize each flop by hand is not feasible for a library as big as GTO Wizard since they have thousands and thousands of solutions. If you prefer more complex strategies there are other solutions like General or Simple.

It finds the bet size or sizes that retain the most EV against a counter-exploitative agent, as compared to playing a more complex strategy. To do this quickly, it uses a combination of classic CFR, lookahead techniques, and EV-predicting neural networks.
