I want to make my own ranges for pretty much all preflop scenarios.
I know that you can use a solver like piosolver but you have to the raise first in ranges to do so. I wonder how you make GTO raise first in ranges?

Also am I right about that when I have my GTO RFI ranges it will be pretty easy to just put in the RFI ranges and the get the solver to calculate for example a call vs 3bet range?

How do I make my own ranges for every preflop spot? and will I need lots of ram on my computer?

I'm not too familiar with PIO, but I believe it has some sort of PF solve option. So does Monker I believe, but again I'm unfamiliar with that as well.

I have used simple preflop, which as it sounds, is just a preflop solver made specifically to get preflop ranges for RFI, 3b, defends to 3b, 4b, 5b etc... It's also a pain in the ass to make accurate trees in that program.

You're right in assuming that it takes a bunch of RAM to figure it out. I've got 128GB of it and have made some pf trees that are fine using 30GB or less, but the solver uses less accurate estimates for turns and rivers that way. It takes over 1kGB when turns and rivers are set to max accuracy and there's more than 5 players.

Seems like you're trying to reinvent the wheel a bit because there's a bunch of PF solutions available for sale. If you get a subscription to upswing, you can see some pf solves (100bb deep assuming 2.25x opens) that were done using Monker I believe which was run on rented out servers. Probably the cheapest option since you can get the charts and cancel your subscription.

If you want to make your own preflop stuff you can try a preflop solver. HRC Beta is a good option as it solves multiway preflop without spots needing a ton of RAM.

How GTO says to play AJ and AQ is questionable according to how i understand poker. I don't even go nuts short stacked most of the time and it's always the right decision. When people go nuts against me, people i know are using gto ranges like the ones you mentioned, and it's there. I don't know. I love being autistic and having poker as one of my obsessions. LOL
