Can anyone explain to me (like I’m 5) the equity graph? I just can’t grasp the meaning of the vertical axis. Sorry and thanks

So at bottom left it’s the weakest range and far right the top of our range, right?
And vertical it’s the equity that we have Vs Villains range?

Idk about the software you guys are using. This image was posted by yaqh, aka Will Tipton the 2+2 hunl author. The solid line is the raw equity(horizontal axis, high equity on left) of the corresponding dot which represents the fraction of the pot earned by that hand(vertical axis). I asked him to draw circles around the hand groups and he kindly obliged.

I still contemplate the ramifications of all this sometimes and it helps me cling to fundamentals.

It's always confused me that when you hover the cursor over it in Pio it displays both IP and OP hands at the same time for that percentile, as if the precise combos are related or useful to compare. Is there any practical reason/benefit for this?
