Does anyone ever think on this topic?
I have never read but one book that even mentions it , is poker therefore crippled like the grown man who can not draw a likeness of himself in a mirror, but produces a childish and pathetic symbol?

It isn't that mainstream although some obscure poker rooms allow it as a "house rule"

CR on the flop, or the turn?
CR with a strong hand or a semi bluff?
CR hu, or in a multi-way pot?
CR-shove? Or min-CR to try to lock them in.
CR a fish for value, CR a nit as a bluff?
There is a lot to this subject.

You shouldn’t have much of a cold calling range at all, except maybe on the BN and the BB, and you can’t CR from the BN. Search up BB defense and read up on post flop defense as the BB.
