Many GTO training sites have tried to implement a GPT virtual coach into their apps, and the results have always been disappointing.

I think the problem is largely bad training data. Most of the public poker content it was trained on is outdated, low-level stuff. But even if it had access to better training data, I'm skeptical that an LLM is the best tool for something like this.

GTO Wizard plans to try this virtual coach idea in the future. So perhaps I am wrong. Maybe a few GPT versions in the future we'll get something amazing.
