In his book, Mastering Holdem and Omaha Poker, Mike Cappelletti states that it is more correct to chase in limit omaha hi than any other limit game. This statement is obvious true for comparing omaha to holdem, but not so obvious with limit seven card stud. Any thoughts or opinions appreciated. Due to no shared cards and the extra betting round, I tend to believe it is more correct to chase in seven card stud.

He is probably referring to the fact that edges in Omaha are much closer than other games so you probably have the correct odds to call a bet and chase whatever you are after.

"Correct to chase" only means that you have enough equity to call based on pot odds. The extra boards or extra betting round dont play much into it.

I am not sure how equities run in Stud compared to Holdem or Omaha but my guess is they are in the middle.

For example. AAT23 v KK945 in 7stud is a 70/30 but AA v KK on most flops is 90/10.

AAxx v KKxx can range from 85/15 to 60/40 on different flops, depending on the all the extra outs they can have.
