Let's say a certain group of poker players is in for a lifetime challenge - they want to hunt as many as possible of these 3 types of plays. They're tired of making just "hero" plays occasionally in NLHE, they want something more, something that can be later called "genius, impossible or miraculous". Does the author of this concept directly drive them towards a big loss result, or maybe not quite ?

The final qualification for one of the 3 plays is of course subjective and non-mathematical just as the "hero" plays are. But most of the time, it will be obvious whether you crossed the necessary barrier or not.

The answer is "Yes" - the concept author did care about your bankroll It's about arranging JQK in this particular order by such move type assignment.

I also created a funny poker formula:

Jack in the hole cards encourages to ENTER the action, Queen on the flop invites for a STAY, but later on, the King on the turn / river encourages to EXIT

I'm currently playing a game that uses the full 52 card deck. It's called "Infinite Light of Poker" and you can play it too, at home. Just save the graphic with the church pattern. I developed this game yesterday, but I can already see it's really cool !! The 52 cards structure you can see in this illustration is very easy to understand and memorize, although the first impression may give opposite opinion. The game plays really fast after a quick training.

You shuffle the deck and deal 13 cards. Then you check each card's position with the pattern. The more symmetric pattern you dealt (LEFT side must match the RIGHT side), the better for you. But not only the number of symmetrically aligned cards count, it's also how you like the esthetics of your pattern. So the "hand rankings" aren't as precise as in normal poker.

So far, I managed to deal 10 symmetric cards (+ three useless "kickers"), but I hope to get full 13 cards hand symmetrically aligned - I believe this will be some sort of a higher message from the one that looks from above ...

Q is at the bottom where the main entrance to the church is. Good luck !

I don't know how and whether it's the math or geometry or the spiritual aspect, but this game (ILOP) already started causing strange things happening to me. Like today for example - I watched a video tour of St Peter's Basilica interior on Youtube to have a good image of it for the first time ever and after I finished watching (30 minutes video) I shuffled the cards and in the very first try I dealt 13 cards and hit 11 symmetrical cards combo (my best score so far !).

Yesterday I felt strong weird aura and energy around me after a long playing session. This is more than just a game. I think it holds the key to old sacred architecture.

I'd love to see the probability math behind it, but still, this would never explain the whole game. I wonder what's the difference between 12 and 13 combo odds.

Must buy some new decks soon and prepare for a long spiritual poker journey Highly recommend, a real jewel guys.

This one is even better:

Ten thousand souls was the opening bid
It soon went up to fifty nine
But the Lord didn't see what the Devil did
And he said that suits me fine
I'll raise you high to a hundred and five
And forever put an end to your sins
But the Devil let out a mighty shout...

'my hand wins'

Yes, you never know what kind of evil creature lurks around the corner on the 13th floor ...

I think this Milan Cathedral card pattern can be a great basis for many different card games. Just like the classic vertical - horizontal rectangular deck set up is. Who knows, maybe even there is a poker variant among these games.

It may take many years, but I'm planning to win this game:

OK, the last one with the cathedral was cool, but THIS ONE is my favorite card game of aaaaaaalllll tiiiiiime And the structure is deeply inspired by the 3-1-1 board mechanics from NLHE and the Tarot cards also. This is the real ace on the river ....

It's basically the big majority of my game and card knowledge and passion put in only 5 cards.

You bet here more than just money and you can play it anytime, anywhere just having these two graphics displayed on your screen:

"The 52 cards are said to represent the 52 weeks in a year. To underline the numerical magic of playing cards, the twelve royals (King, Queen, and Knaves, i.e., Jack), represent the twelve months of the year. Meanwhile, each suit of thirteen cards represents the thirteen weeks in each season. The four playing card suits represent the four seasons/solstices, while other historians have said it may allude to the four phases of the moon. Suits may also parallel the four elements found in nature: hearts for water, clubs for fire, diamonds for earth and spades for air."

I like the moon theory personally, but both perspectives are good enough

Yes, I read that thing somewhere before. And what's also a cool coincidence - there are 52 white keys in a piano keyboard. I played piano in music school, so that's also interesting to me. Some cathedrals' architecture may be based on the 52 weeks in a year thing, indeed. So, I kind of used it to my advantage, haha.

I've just realized that the game I created last night perfectly translates into poker:

ANGEL CARD:

CLOSENESS (concentration)
INNER LIGHT (luck)
UNDERSTANDING (accepting loss and bad beats)
WHISPERED BLESSINGS (correct instinct)
KEEPING THE SECRET (hiding information)

DEMON CARD:

RANGE (stakes)
OUTER DARKNESS (aggressive player image)
REBELLIOUSNESS (raising)
SCREAMED CURSES (tilting others and making hero plays)
DECEPTIVENESS (bluffing)
