Is this standard for RPM?

I recently opened an account on RPM and deposited money (not much just 40$) on Sunday morning. After depositing I logged off and shortly thereafter when i went to log back in it tells me to contact support my account is locked for security reasons. Support tells me to send in pictures of card and ID along with filling out a form. I have no problem complying with this, just thought it odd that my account was able to be deposited on, but then locked after i log out and I'm yet to even play one hand on the site.
Also is the security email pokersecurity@pokercs? They had changed my reference number once i was transferred from support and they had misspelled a word in the subject header. I'm probably just being paranoid asking this question but don't need to send photos of my cards to random scammers. Any and all help with this matter is appreciated thank you.

It sounds like your account was flagged for fraud and/or a security issue by our security team. This could be for any number of reasons. If you'd like, PM me your username and I can look into this for you.
The short answer is yes, this process is standard if your account is flagged by our security department. The e-mail address is correct, but it seems as if the misspelling was an unfortunate error!
Again, I'm happy to help look into why your account was flagged. Please PM me your information, or if your PMs are not enabled, e-mail me directly at Manager at RPMPoker dot COM.
