That said, I am patiently waiting for things to improve as withdrawing 2.5k every 4-6 weeks will not work for me.
Not at all true.

Actually vig means juice. If I want RPM + 10% vig, I'd want $110 RPM for my $100 cash.

sj
reason i focus on this thread vs. that one, is twofold.....

1st.......interested in RPM only....not other Merge Skins
2nd......interested in experience of USA based players only (for obvious reasons)

Nor do I........only interested in facts. In addition.......nothing would be cooler than if everyone was getting paid ! That is my ultimate hope.......but for now.......I am just observing the facts. Notebook sitting next to laptop......keeping record of the # of requests, pendings, approvals, and received... of USA Based Players posting in this thread from 6/14 on..... till we see some trend one way or the other......

I thought everyone who requested a withdrawal before 5/20 was approved. Did you verify your account before first submitting your withdrawal request? What date did you try to cashout?

Like the 2 posts above me, it'll be 5 weeks for me too by tomorrow. Run good one time please. So sad that I feel like I'm almost asking for a favor or some luck just to receive my own money...lol...

you would have think if they are excepting more US players on july 1st..they would HAVE to speed up the withdraw process right? and also would think they have no worries about getting money to US players..what is everyones thoughts on allowing more US players on july 1st?

If I had a check withdraw still pending like you guys I wouldn't want them to be accepting more US players yet. I would GUESS that there would be a bunch of check approvals tomorrow if they did go ahead and take more players July 1. In general though I hoped they would have announced some kind of new cashout methods prior to accepting more US players.
06-27-2011 , 01:28 PM
I highly doubt the lack of a new and improved cashout method will stop them from accepting more US players... if it's a way for Merge to make more money they're gonna do it

Tomorrow will be 5 weeks for me since I requested a cashout and I'm still not approved, I don't expect to see a check until at least the 6 week mark, and that's best case scenario... some people here have been waiting 6+ weeks already, so that's at least 7+ weeks total for them... I haven't seen someone here have a check approved in over a week.... About 3 weeks ago Seth said they were getting close to better withdrawal options - Well I sure don't see it.

So yeah, let's accept more US players now, so instead of waiting 8 weeks we can wait 10 weeks for $2500... And what happens when a US player has a big tournament score or hits the BBJ? There used to be a wire option or something for larger cashouts, but now, when we hit that BBJ for 200k, I guess we'll see that money in $2500 increments for the next 10 years... Gotta love the current state of online poker

I hope RPM has me eat my words, but I'm not holding my breath

Coming from the guy who created this thread, seems kind of ridiculous to post this kind of nonsense here. I answered your question in the other thread you started. Also, more people than you are admitting have received checks (see Merge withdrawal thread in IP forum).

Your bolded statement is LDO. Expecting it to be so following BF, and an inundation of new player accounts/transfers/verifications/withdrawals is LOL.

In closing, since you were the one who said it, can we keep this thread to factual information, and your leave your personal view of what you think is great/not so great out of this thread at least?Unless of course your just trying to scaremonger people from playing on RPM, in which case, carry on.
Fact: I am still waiting pending approval
Fact: I will not play anymore on RPM till I recieve the withdrawl.
Fact: I am not happy that a withdrawl would take 6 + weeks to recieve.
Fact: The way it was explained to me from RPM Jon, RPM is not merge concerning withdrawls, and RPM does not want to take the same risky chances that merge and the other skins do to pay U.S players, so RPM is 'working' on a better method of paying U.S. based customers. So the other thread you talk about doesnt really matter imo.
Fact:, thanks for your crazy, semi-coherent, speculative rant/debate on this thread kidsinister

How about a little common sense in this thread?

Black Friday didn't just take out the big three U.S.-facing poker rooms. In combination with the more recent Linwood Payment Solutions sting it has destroyed both UseMyWallet and a great deal of the invisible infrastructure that handles checks to U.S. players.

No one knows the details of the damage and that is a good thing. I don't want an explanation from Merge because anyone who would discuss these problems in public is too dumb to be trusted with money.

It takes time and expertise to build a new underground railroad for online gaming money. Be patient and let people do their jobs.

PS: You don't just wake up one morning and say "Let's pay our customers via Western Union!" There are rules and security procedures in place to prevent WU from being used to launder money. Circumventing WU security on a large scale is a complicated and difficult enterprise. Some sportsbooks seem to have mastered this black art. Good for them. But I doubt this can be a short-term fix for someone who doesn't already have it.

Thanks......I see SnGGrinder in there, so can mark him/her off the list (as "received"......also see toomuchwine......(but had already seen that posters remark in this thread........)

So I see a total of 5 posters who have now received checks in hand......from 6/14 on........will keep watching......

Current Stats - from this thread only, Excluding Non USA Players when I can, from 6/14 forward:

25 Cashout Requests
16 Marked as "Pending"
9 Marked as "Approved"
5 Posters reporting have "Received" Checks.

Initial glance is those who have received got checks within 6 weeks of request. What will be key is to see how long it takes for the current batch of Pendings to get marked as approved, sent and received. If they can stay on some consistent schedule of six weeks or better, with a small sample size.......then that I would say is a good sign !!

Your money is and always has been safe and secure on RPM Poker and the Merge Network; nothing has ever changed!

The amount of successful withdrawal posts you're seeing is not really indicative of the progress made for RPM players. Not everybody is a 2+2er

There is another large batch of withdrawals going out shortly. I appreciate your continued patience, and as always, we're working as quickly as possible.

This would be funny if it wasn't so absurd. Nobody is getting money off of this site. If I could do it all over again I would absolutely NOT deposit here.
06-27-2011 , 07:25 PM
i requested my check on may 16th and got it today
06-27-2011 , 07:35 PM
for those of you who aren't aware, your wd request shows as pending until the check is actually cut. everyone who is reporting approved has gotten their check 5-7 days after their status changed.

I'm glad to hear another batch is going out soon, today is 5 weeks for me as well.

i'm unhappy about the current situation, but your statement isn't true. there are people who've gotten money off rpm recently. read this thread and the merge withdrawal thread. i don't understand why a person would refuse to count anyone in their tally other than those on this thread. this thread isn't the only thread where people are stating they've recieved money from rpm and merge in general. a bad situation isn't an excuse to make an untrue or global type statement. i'm not trying to excuse anything and i'd love to get some of my hard earned money, but making untrue statements isn't acceptable nor does it help matters.
