Might want to hold off on bashing a site until they are able to answer you. Or try PM'ing RPM Seth instead of talking to clueless Merge Support through email.

I admitted I was wrong on this one issue, the other cashout issues I mentioned are still...well, an issue. Thats what this thread is for, concerns, you want to call it bashing, thats your right, Bot so far, the whole getting a check here after making deposits, seems like most stores return policys. And to be honest, the 'clueless' Merge support thru email you mentioned, for me on RPM, has been very good, so before you go bashing a site.........

Merge shut down their live chat, RPM still offers theirs on the RPM website

Simple format:

Requested: XX/XX/XX
Approved: XX/XX/XX
Received: YY/YY/YY
cleared bank: XX/XX/XX

Please do not post requested and approved and never return to update that you got your money. That just creates fear.

In response to the previous few posts, lets try to get back to the bolded format above because of the bolded statement above that.

Progress has been made in the past two weeks with people being approved and rcving checks. I will admit it is slow, but progress is progress, lets all be patient and see what this progress leads to.

I need clarification on this. The verification form looks like its catered towards credit cards. I never deposited via credit card. I sent money via WU and I'm looking to get a check mailed back.

Do I still need "verification"?

I tried RPM live chat, but of course who's sittin there on a Sunday.

I didn't use a CC either, they said to just draw a line through that section and complete the rest. (make sure you notify someone that you've submitted)
Yes you still need to submit it.

i didn't want to be one of the people that never makes a follow up post when they say they're going to cash out. fyi, i never tried. i think i'll try the player to player transer method instead. i did see where several people had recieved checks after this thread got started, but i just decided to hang loose and see what happened. then i thought by transfering it might get me a few dollars in hand quicker.

i know this is a withdrawal thread, but is there any reason not to use the transfer method to get your dough, other than you obviously lose some $. would appreciate any advice from experienced people as i've never done that before. does the transfer have to be approved by rpm first?

p.s. when i verified to withdraw, as usual, rpm jon and seth made it a quick process with fast results.

thanks

You will be competing with many others by using the player to player transfer option. If your looking to get a significant amount off it is probably not a great option. Although there have been some people looking to buy large amounts, in general they haven't. It took me nearly 2 weeks to sell funds for 300 cash and I sold my last 200 with a 22% vig to get that done.

Sorry, but I am not reading anything on this thread that would make me, a US Based player trust & want to deposit on RPM. 14 days ago some posters already delayed cash out request got changed to "approved" (whatever that means......I have asked but not got an answer).....and to date.......think I have seen something like just 2 or 3 people say they received a check...... this plus the fact they no longer accept US Based players spells trouble to me.........players money should be READILY AVAILABLE FOR CASHOUT UPON REQUEST RPM !!!

RPM........SHOW ME THE MONEY.

No more excuses

Dozens of people posted that they got a check in hand from that most recent batch of approvals. Not sure where you got that "2 or 3" estimate.

Actually this thread was originally created to be a simple fact based thread about US player cashouts, but as is often the case with 2+2 unmoderated threads, it has morphed into some crazy, semi-coherent, speculative rant/debate.

Coming from the guy who created this thread, seems kind of ridiculous to post this kind of nonsense here. I answered your question in the other thread you started. Also, more people than you are admitting have received checks (see Merge withdrawal thread in IP forum).

Your bolded statement is LDO. Expecting it to be so following BF, and an inundation of new player accounts/transfers/verifications/withdrawals is LOL.

In closing, since you were the one who said it, can we keep this thread to factual information, and your leave your personal view of what you think is great/not so great out of this thread at least?Unless of course your just trying to scaremonger people from playing on RPM, in which case, carry on.

Here are the facts/stats from this thread. 4 people have reported receiving a check. (not dozens)

I traced it back to 6/14, the day people started reporting that their withdrawal status(s) from as early as May 1st, had changed to "approved". From that day forward, 23 players have reported making a cashout request. 15 of them are still "pending". 8 are "approved", with 4 having received a check. (If there was an obvious reference to a player being outside the USA, I did not include in the count)

The four players posting they received a check are mymaseratidoes185, toomuchwine, oldroad_KS, and Quiet Riot. You can scroll down to verify the rest......

I would love to play this site, but need to see a smoother, more consistent withdrawal procedure.....

correction w/my #'s - from 6/14 forward, excluding any obvious non USA Based Players; as reported by 2+2 posters on this thread:

21 Requests Reported (date back to 5/1 to present)
12 Requests still Currently "Pending"
9 Requests "Approved" (most all on 6/14) ,
4 reporting approvals, reported getting a check on 6/20

17 of 21 posters are either not updating us on status changes, or are still in cashout limbo

I'm sure anyone who said they were approved received the check. Anyone who didn't receive would have posted it. Also, you need to check the general merge withdraw thread in internet poker. There are many more players on the merge network who have received checks.

In an effort to get this thread back on track before lock, I will update that I am still pending. This is LOL though, as I expect to be pending for at least 2 1/2 more weeks.

Also, Merge is quite possibly opening back up to US players on July 1st. This comes from Seth in one of these threads. (Dont remember which one, but in response to this he said check back July 1st.)

Hopefully with that, they will be implementing some other changes that will help everything else along.

It is really LOL to expect a very small poker skin/site (when compared to the big 3 or whatever) to be able to handle such a massive spike in signups, and still be able to handle cashouts in a timely fashion with the shutdown of two major processors.
06-26-2011 , 07:08 PM
yes, i've seen on the merge withdrawal thread there are a number of people posting that said they recieved checks from both rpm and merge. i didn't count how many, but much more than on this thread. my recollection is that it was at least a dozen. i wouldn't know of course, how significant their numbers are, compared to the number of requests for checks.

thanks for the response. i don't know what "vig" stands for? can someone help me there. i would sell smaller amounts anyway, and i'll post that in that thread.
06-26-2011 , 07:10 PM
vig is basically a discount. Say you want to trade 100, you could offer it for 90.

You can pretty much assume that any 6/14 approval received their check, or they would be screaming bloody murder right now.

But this last post u made is good because it is based on facts. I just don't want to see any sensationalist fear-mongering, especially here in this RPM forum.

That said, I am patiently waiting for things to improve as withdrawing 2.5k every 4-6 weeks will not work for me.
06-26-2011 , 07:37 PM
Hopefully, my withdrawal will be approved tomorrow, because otherwise, by the time the check takes to reach me, it will have been a MINIMUM of 6 weeks. So let's hope their claim of 4-6 weeks is true.
