I am not in favor of a permanent chat ban instantly on first offense. I think the first offense is a 1 week ban, 2nd 1 month, 3rd 6 months, 4th permanent.

You'd be surprised. And regulating chat privileges wouldn't be 1st offense insta-ban. Obviously I'd like it to be a system like PokerStars had. That was reasonable.

Also, it's incredibly annoying to see they care more about the word "lock" being censored so when I type in "block" it shows up as "*****". They care more about petty stuff like that but sending death threats to the guy sitting next to you in what is supposed to be a fun game between gentlemen is OK?

yeah, i thought about it and yes, chatbans should go warning/1week and be escalated. I do however think the site should not punish you tho if its in defense, as in someone just calls you a bad word then tells you how stupid you are and you say"F off" you should not be penalised for that imo.

I play 5-8 mtts a day. Collusion is always a concern for me particularly on a smaller network with limited resources that can allocated to security.

My suggestion:

Randomly post replays of final tables with hole cards exposed. Pokerstars has done this for a long time when it comes to their premier tourney on Sundays. Merge would post replays of random final tables. Players would not know which ones. This could add to security detection without having to spend money.

merge doesnt even have access to our HH, we have to supply it to them when we want things checked out... u think they have the ability to replay a final table? I dont think so.

The ability to change seats when a seat open up would be novel.

Can we get Step SnG tournaments? I think they would be pretty popular and you could have the final step give seats to big events (Aussie Millions/WSOP/etc) while also having some steps that finish with just cash, etc.

I should probably rephrase this statement. It doesn't necessarily add to security detection as much as it would help maintain the integrity of the game.

In the lobby players would be made aware that their final table may be replayed, hands exposed.

I wrote about chat bans last week. I think that Merge if they are not going to undergo the expense of having chat buttons on each table and support crew needed to properly maintain this Merge should consider using Chat moderators that are volunteers. I know this has been done on networks in the past. Basically you would use players that are regs, in good standing, to assist with reporting chat violations.

Volunteers would send emails to Merge in a certain format:

subject: chat violation
body of email:
1. offenders poker handle
2. offense category
3. copy of bannable chat

punishment system:

1st offense 1 week chat ban
2nd offense 1 month
3rd offense permanent chat ban

PLEASE speed up the rate at which transfers are approved/processed. It is epically bad, especially at night.

At the top it says addon gives you 5k chips. Under the addon part it only says 3k chips.

Had to look over it a few times to catch it.

I didn't see it at first either.. but the toward the top of the lobby it says "one addon of 5000 chips" but on the left near the ? it says addon: 3000 chips

I noticed it b4 I registered, figured no big deal. I was pretty sure it was just an add-on of 3k but was hoping for 5k.
