you know the answer in BB/100 relative to non BBJ tables?
I looked at my db and found the following LOL sample size but results seem reasonable .. does not include latest run where I've play a lot more FR BBJ I'll try to add that tomorrow maybe.
I've only played 1/2 BBJ .. 2/4 doesn't run much and I expect it to be tougher than 1/2.
BBJ sample size is tiny 302 hands .. at least VPIP and rake converge a bit.
Rake w/BBJ taken 4.05BB/100, ... MGR 5.43BB/100
This is pretty ugly.
FR non- BBJ tables .. 14K hands ..
Rake 3.58BB/100 ... MGR 4.3BB/100
So if I have completed this correctly .. the table is paying about 1BB/100 more on BBJ tables .. 5.43 to 4.3 .. this may suffer for sample size.
Player rake
is 4.05BB/100 vs 3.58BB so your losing about .5BB to the jackpot per 100 or a buck per 100 hands.
Now comes the question win rate .. can you make .5BB/100 more during your time on the table. During the week I've seem them most <30% vpip. I stay away from those .. when they get to 35%+, I think you can make up the BBJ. I'm counting the BBJ as only loss as the chances of hitting it are small. Though once in my 500K hand history I did beat quads with a straight flush, so it can happen.
