Response about player to player transfers? Response about player to player transfers?

ACR: Restricted P2P transfer limits to $250/$500/$1000 to all players (however their rep has said that players who've played 3 months or more may discuss increasing these limits with support)

Lock: Lowered transfer limits for all players - however, they have been increasing upon request, but carefully (I was "increased" to $1000/$3000/$5000) after talking to support).

BCR/Merge (JUST ANNOUNCED): Via the BCR rep here on 2+2: "Effective immediately, Merge have restricted our ability to send p2p transfers between player accounts. Further, as of November 1 they will be removing all players' ability to send p2p transfers from the poker client. We apologise for the inconvenience, but unfortunately this is a decision taken by merge, and one we were not consulted on."

quoted from thread in the zoo. Is RPM going to comment on this?

I got screwed out of a team Moshman coaching contract due to this. How many countless others got screwed in different ways because of this?

Without player to player transfers I will not be continuing on Merge once I use up all my satellite tickets and player points. I just decided to take a month off two weeks ago moving my money off to play live games. This is a big red flag. I will not be depositing anytime soon.

I'm not staked. I am however dependent on getting my money within a reasonable time frame. After waiting 8 weeks for a check that bounced, and then waiting another 6 for a new one, I don't do check withdrawals.

What is much more frustrating however is the fact that the site didn't tell their players beforehand. This site really sucks at communicating. There wouldn't be as many people panicking on this board if the sites simply e-mailed the players before doing this and told them why they are doing it and whether it is permanent or temporary.

you can get off like 15k a year - being staked isnt the issue.

The issue here is communication and courtesy.

I would appreciate hearing about big changes from my own skin (rpm) rather than finding out from others. I read the post talking about the transfer cancellations before there were any replies. I came here to check for info, and I went to my email to see if there was an official notice from RPM. Since there was no other info I didn't know what to think. At that point I had just agreed on a trade with another player... haven't heard from him since.

Many of us signed up for RPM in the first place, because we were told they had great customer service. By and large, that has been true. But, imo, great customer service should include keeping your customers apprised of changes due in the site environment.

It bothers me when I don't hear things from Seth and Jon. In the back of my mind it starts to worry me that they aren't as committed to their customers as they used to be. And then I start to wonder... "is RPM still strong and stable?".

Just a note that a thread has been posted confirming this change on the Merge Network.

I'd like to know when The Merge Network plans to accept Card/Debit cards again cause it shady taking away P2P Transfers USA Players need to realize they are being squeezed out of the world poker market after making many conpanies mega money.
