yea, is RPM getting this new option? if so, when!?

this would be pretty sick. Even if its just lock. Looking forward to RPM answering this particular question.

No one on the Merge network will have "new cash out options"... the only reason Lock has it is because it has its own cashier

The only part of lock that is it's own cashier is their casino portion, which is also why they have unique cashout options. But afaik this only applies to your Lock casino funds, as your poker funds are held seperate.

Lock is saying you can transfer your poker funds to the casino and then use there new cashout options including bankwire...

Hopefully Rpm does something to keep up, their support is great but cashouts have just gotten worse and won't get much better. Pretty tilting getting those "what can we do to get you to play here emails" and just get ****ted on by cashouts.

they are working on it arent they?

if cashouts were somehow able to improve times to say 1 - 3 weeks instead of 4 - 6 I would imagine traffic would increase substantially. So does the risk though....

How is Lock able to find quicker processors? Are they doing something illegal? Theoretically, if Lock is able to find a processor with a 2-3 week time frame then so should RPM.

For informational purposes..... all the sites are doing something ilegal (maybe not in their eyes but in the eyes of the powers that be)

EDIT: I see Seth is composing a response for this thread as we speak, let me spell it out for you ........

Seth will say "Rpm and Merge are doing everything in their power to make cash-outs as quick as possible, that being said we are not willing to take the same risks with player money as Lock is willing to take on"

EDIT: He must have changed his mind, started to reply, than didnt........ Op only had a question for him a week ago

If RPM chooses to accept the risk of having their own cashier. Most network skins both merge and cake use the network processor which I assume is probably the easiest way to run a poker site. Some skins choose to use their own processors thus have their own cashiers and only share network traffic.

I was under the impression that the DOJ nailed UB/FT/Stars because of bank fraud in regards to the ehecks. (They would say $500 for "books" or $100 for "golf" or something along those lines on people's bank statements) Bank fraud is clear cut and I'm pretty sure that was the bulk of the DOJ's case against the sites? But maybe I'm wrong.

Not exactly. The aforementioned sites did not get in trouble for conducting transactions related to poker. They got in trouble for the actions that they used to circumvent the protections and systems implemented by the banks, which indicated bank fraud.

The actual process of bank transactions related to poker is no longer covered by the UIGEA and prosecuted by the DOJ as specified by their December 2011 press release. However this being said, until the banks you will be doing transactions with get rid of their blocking mechanisms, anything you do to circumvent them will still constitute bank fraud.

If for example the legal drinking age in the US was lowered to 16, but a store owner did not know and asked some 18 year old kid for ID and the kid showed him a fake one that showed him being 21, the kid is still breaking the law.

Couldnt say but I read in the lock thread that there also doing western union cashouts...48hrs to have cash in hand, that would be optimal IMO
