Missing Rpm tournaments that are on other skins (have returned) Missing Rpm tournaments that are on other skins (have returned)

This is a problem and I believe this deserves its own thread and shouldn't be merged into a simple post in another thread without a response that few people will read.

The $60 cubed 10k is on other skins at the moment, but not on rpm. As well as the $109 turbo weekly. These are just two I noticed off the top of my head, I'm sure there's probably more. Why do you guys just randomly ****ing remove tournaments from the merge schedule? It was done with the $75r two months back "removed temporarily" and wasn't back up for 2 weeks. How do you expect people to continue grinding on your skin when you continually dick everyone with cashouts and can't even continue to offer the same tournaments as other skins.

I can also confirm that the $33c is also not on the schedule at 21:00 is not on the rpm schedule either.

I am interested in this too, whats the deal?
06-03-2012 , 12:19 AM
The $60t and $33c turbo were also missing, but are on carbon and overbet a few of my friends confirmed for me. Thats at least 5 of the bigger mtts. It's not the first time this has happened either, but nothing like this before. Im pretty disgusted by it. The first thread I made of this was thrown in the beginner questions/general thread without a reply even. Honestly dont know how they expect a lot of players to keep grinding there when they pull crap like this. That's at least 25% of buyins for someone playing a full schedule just zapped.
06-03-2012 , 01:36 PM
Well, I'm checking out the schedule for today and there is no $60 cubed at 18:00 to play, $33c at 21:00, $60t turbo at 23:00, $33c turbo at midnight, and I can't imagine what else is missing without seeing another schedule of what should be up. I also sent an email regarding this yesterday and didn't get a reply. Pretty ****ed up.

Sportsbook did something like this with 5-10+ NL games, I think it has a lot to do with lowering variance for their customers, hence making sure you are able to pay more rake. I'd love to hear RPM's answer though!
06-03-2012 , 03:30 PM
$215 HORSE also missing
06-03-2012 , 04:04 PM
The correct answer is... Each skin has their own options for each GTD tournament to add to the schedule. If they don't want a tournament because it's not going to overlay the Guarantee, that is their right to do so. If a tournament doesn't overlay each skin pays a % of how many of their players played in the event(atleast that's how everleaf operates) to pay the difference to equal the guarantee.

After lengthy correspondence with Merge Gaming, a decision was made to temporarily remove a small number of tournaments from the schedule; namely the Weekly 7 Events, and a few $10,000 Guaranteed events, while the tournament guarantees are analyzed and adjusted in the coming weeks in relation to participation.

blobbloblob's answer is 100% correct, and these decisions are made after careful consideration and analysis. As a brand that prides itself on consistently making offers in the interests of its players, a decision to pull tournaments from the schedule is far and away one of the things RPM Poker would prefer to avoid.

While tournaments that consistently overlay are great extra value for players, that cost is borne by the brands that have chosen to make those offers available. While we're highly interested in making sure these offers return, to continue to make these offers at present would - simply put - be bad business.

You'll notice the vast majority of the tournament schedule remains intact, including the $150,000 Guaranteed event. Please continue to enjoy all of the RPM Poker offers and exclusive promotions.

I'm sure it helps and is good business for Merge Gaming that the mtts are just removed on your skin and up on other Merge skins. I'll take my business elsewhere as every player on your skin should in order to at least have the opportunity to play in games that Merge offers. I logged in to another skin and the number of missing mtts on rpm is definitely in the teens that are available on other merge skins. Would love to see all of them posted. Also there are smaller mtts removed which included at least two of the $22 buy ins and some mixed games so not just the higher buyins and weeklys.

I have noticed these differences for a long time, and when I asked different reps, they all told me that everything is the same on all skins. I am glad to get a real explanation, finally. Even though the answer sucks, thanks for being honest. I am on Players Only atm, and I know I need to switch to a better skin. Which skin, I still do not know....

Please bring back the 150 seats freeroll $109 tickets for RPM players
Other skins like Black Chip Poker has this freeroll

The overwhelming majority of the tournament schedule was untouched. Only a few tournaments were removed, not numbering in the teens. The vast majority of the tournament schedule also continues to overlay. However, these tournaments were the only ones temporarily removed from the schedule:

- The Weekly 7 Series
- The $10,000 Guaranteed Freezeout at 15:15 Server Time
- The $10,000 Guaranteed at 10:00 Server Time
- The $10,000 Guaranteed R+A
- Thursday Evening $20,000 Guaranteed
- $15k Second Chance

We look forward to re-adding these shortly.

I was talking about him trying to start a revolution, not you guys making smart business decisions. :-)

I can def understand RPM's point of view on this but as a HS mtter it is already fewer high buyin tourneys than I would like. I can't stay on a skin that takes these off the schedule while the other skins still have them available. I'm sure I would come back to RPM if they put these back on b/c you guys do have the best customer service.

They will come back, the removal is only temporary. We remain committed to making sure that RPM customers receive the best offers for the Merge Gaming network.

Is this seriously all that tournaments your going to list Seth? What about the the 60 turbo, 33c turbo, 33c at 21:00, the $60 freezeout that starts the same time as the high roller, the $22 that starts at 18:30 and at 17:00. They were both not on the schedule Sunday. Those are just ones I can ring off the top of my head that were not there.

Ugh, now there are basically NO tournaments in the lobby...when can we expect them to be back? Small ones I'm talking, like $500 guaranteed fo, $500 turbo, $700 guaranteed fo, $2.20 $1,250 rebuy, etc etc.

Seth, can you please clarify this? An exhaustive list of every tournament the network offers that RPM doesn't would be great.

I had no idea about this until I saw a popup telling me to register for a $10k the other day and it wasn't there, and it is a major deal-breaker as I'd prefer to give RPM my business because you and Jon are awesome.

Thanks.

This is network wide, not RPM specific. These tournaments have not spawned yet because of the software upgrade.

Thanks Seth

My post above mentioned the only tournaments that were removed. We anticipate to be re-adding these tournaments within the next few day, likely by June 8th or 9th. We will continue to update all players.

Sooo only ones that are crucial to MTT grinders on the site. Thanks for leaving all the $2 and $3's though.

EDIT - Saw that several tournaments (9pm est $60 10k etc) were network wide removals. hope they get back soon.
