I regged for the $20 Bounty Freezeout which started at 9:30 server time. It is now 11:15 on the server clock, and late registration still hasn't closed. At one point, the tournament was actually down the the final table, and now 2 people late regged (starting w 5bbs) and broke it back to 2 tables. It does not appear late registration will actually end, as it just says in the lobby "Late Registration: Open." WTF is this? And WTF is going on here?

Edit: Right as I made the post, late reg closed, almost 1hr and 48minutes after the tournament started...

Some network tournaments have longer late registration periods than others. This may have been an oversight when the network created these tournaments as 1:45 of late registration is a bit longer than usual. I will look into that!

There is currently a bounty tourny that started at 11:30 server time that is still late regging @ 13:57 server time. I know this isn't on RPM specifically, but yeah, apparently there is no end time for late reg.

Technically, yes - however, the table skin didn't change to the final table skin until after late reg had closed, fwiw.

So what happens if you register for a tournament that pays 13 spots when there's only 9 people left? Assuming you're pretty much all in your first hand and lose, do you get 10th place money even though 10th has already been paid?

Rook1969 thats a good question because the other day I saw that exact situation but missed late reg by a few seconds (stupid laggy software). Anyway Ive been watching these games like a hawk looking for another shot to buy my way in to the $. It doesnt seem to happen too often but I have seen it with my own two eyes.

I started a hand after the bubble had just popped, I ended up going all in and losing, to find out that another 2 people just registered so the bubble hadn't popped then so I didn't cash. I emailed support and they reimbursed me the $16.50 plus gave me a $11 tournament ticket for my troubles. And I got to keep my 3 or 4 bounties from the tournament. So if it happens, just be patient and RPM will settle it. THumbsup RPM
