Arrgh....goddamittt. I accidentally signed up for the $109 Sunday tourney thingee with cash instead of my tourney ticket. And, of course, it's too late to unregister and switch it. Wonder if support will retroactively switch it for me (not holding my breath).

I wasn't complaining, it's obviously a great deal. I was just curious where he heard that since I thought we automatically got vip points for anything we played that we paid rake. I only paid $1 in rake total, so obviously i'm not sweating about the 6.5 vip points.

That really sucks. Hopefully next time they have a way where it automatically uses tickets before cash. Instead of having to click and scroll down to the ticket.

I didn't hear it I am just saying that when you register for the tourneys it says you get 0 pts. I also have played over a 100 in one day and got 0 pts for those .11 tourneys. But the value is still great on RPM so I am not complaining about it. Just that this value is not every month.

This should also go in the suggestion box sticky.

In tournaments where you can use cash/points/tourney-tickets all of the options should be on the screen at once instead of a drop down menu. Also none of the options should be highlighted by default so that you don't accidently just click okay but instead have to actively pick a method of paying for tournament.

Do the double VIP point days only count toward cash games? I got two balance adjustments that seem to match only my cash game play from the previous Monday and Thursday (May promo)...

It should also be for all the tourney pts that you get as well.

^^^ Defnitely not the case with me.

All my bonus points have matched VIP point earnings and exclude tournament earnings on the appropriate days.

I PMed Seth and will report back when he answers, or hopefully he'll jump ITT to clear up confusion.

It seems so weird to me that this can't simply be an automated thing.

Double VIP Points count towards anything that you earn VIP Points playing. This includes both tournaments and cash games.

Yes, thanks Seth for getting back to me yesterday.

In case anyone was wondering, the points ledger shows "tournament earnings" entries for points earned from MTTs and SNGs ldo. However, there is no entry showing what you earned from cash games.

The "earnings" entry described as "VIP point earnings..." shows the total points you earned in a session for all games cash and tournament, so in order to know how many points you earned from cash games, you have to subtract your "tournament earnings" from the "earnings" entry.

I made an ass out of u and me by thinking the VIP point earnings only represented cash game play.

skream - They don't give you the ticket until Saturday or Sunday. I got mine last Saturday night I think.

You can go to "player admin" and go to "tournament tickets" on the left. You will also get a pop-up thingee on the RPM client saying that you have been awarded the ticket.

Finally, when you play the tournament on Sunday make sure you click the tournament option in the drop-down. I have an auto-register thing and it automatically paid the cash for me instead and I was stuck with the ticket for the next week. Oh well.

Around what time on Saturday did you get credited with the ticket by chance?

Seth - I officially hate super-turbos. Please don't ever run that promotion again.

Thanks.

I haven't received any of my stuff for the past two weeks EXCEPT for the Sunday ticket. I am assuming they are still way behind.

So over a week ago before they explained that all the promo giving would be delayed I sent them a couple of e-mails requesting my bonus from the Thursday promo be deposited into my account asap so I could start clearing it. I received a transfer for my initial funds and had not deposited so I was getting no bonus.

I eventually gave up and just deposited some via Western Union so I could start earning the bonus.

I copied Seth on the e-mails and he eventually responded the next day he wouldapply it very soon. That was about a week ago but I really don't care about the delay anymore since I deposited anyway.

Today I got an e-mail back from regular support about it...and was surprised that they don't even seem to know what "Thursday promo" I was talking about. To my knowledge they only have one Thursday promo. You get a $150 bonus into your account if you play 2500 hands. It's right there on your website. Why the heck should I have to show you where it is or link to it for you?

Weird.

I have confidence I'll get my bonus stuff and satellite tickets, etc eventually. But the fact that their support would ask me to link to where their own promo is just struck me as so odd. "

Email I sent to them over a week ago and their reply:

Hi,
I played 2500 hands on RPM on Thursday (today). If possible, I would like the $150 bonus credited to my account as soon as possible so that I may begin working it off. I believe I read somewhere on 2+2 that this was possible for players who aren't currently working off a bonus as long as you request it.

Liking the site and all the different promotions you have there by the way. Keep up the good work. You are winning me over.

Thanks,

You probably should just contact RPM Seth directly instead of emailing general support. Since they work for all of Merge they are generally pretty clueless.
