I find the opt-in double VIP points very unprofessional. It's not so much that you have to opt-in that bothers me, but more so that the PLAYER ADMIN doesn't reflect that your actually receiving the double points. Most players who are incorrectly not receiving the extra points would therefore before oblivious to it.

My questions:

On double VIP days, if im in a 35% rakeback tier. Is it essentially 70% rakeback on these days?

For other players out there, whats the best method you use to validate your getting double points? PokerTracker? Per dollar raked, how many points are issued?

Well I wouldn't say double VIP days = double rakeback unless you are on the VIP system. Mainly because you earn pts off rakeback at 6.5 pts per $1. Each pt buying into a tourney = .01 for most tourneys. Really it would be about an additional 6.5% increase (Total with pts would be 48%) in rakeback on double pts day with rakeback. (Normal is 35% + 6.5%(pts) ) On the VIP it would be double rakeback if you trade for cash. If you were A gear and earned 11,111 pts and doubled it you would get 90% rakeback.(45% normal trading in pts for cash at A gear)

If your at Q gear and earn 35% for trading in for cash you are correct you would get 70% rakeback by trading in pts for cash.

Yes I switched over to VIP

Not sure why you find it hard, but I will give you hints for what I do. First if you switched, you need to contact RPMJon or RPMSeth for VIP assignment then you have a person to contact directly or support if needed. Ask them they can tell you if your are opted in .. or not, etc.

Second .. from player admin check your points for the double days. Usually by Monday of the next week you will get credit for the double days. It comes in as an adjustment. You have to dig for it by checking each day, but it isn't all that difficult. If it is not there for last week, then ask support.

Points per session, you need a tracker or by hand, if you use a tracker there usually is a stat for contributed rake. PT3/PT4 both have it, HEM I don't know. Then mult by 10 and your points should be about equal. Works fine for me and double point days can make a J gear switch worth it. I did and glad I did I broke even for rakeback and will get to Q gear faster and to 48% rakeback with bonus even faster.

Hope that helps, can't really complain getting double rakeback for thursday and friday play.
