I am going on 10 weeks now, Approved Nov 19 for $600 and still no check...I did receive $2000 check from them about 3 weeks ago that was approved on Nov 11th though. I am very afraid they don't have our money though. Customer Service is ZERO help. DO NOT DEPOSIT ON THIS SITE!

Thanks for the heads up. I was planning on depositing there, but was a little weary about Merge sites, but figured RPM might be better since they have their own forum here.

Guess not.

I wanted to let you guys know that I hear your frustration with the check withdrawal process, and we are frustrated as well. We continue to urge our players to use other withdrawal options like eWalletXpress. If you do not have an EWX account, RPM Poker offers other quick withdrawal options for players, and you can contact me via PM for more information.

Your money is safe, Merge is nowhere close to going under, but unfortunately the checks are taking longer than usual at this current time. We are built by the players for the players, this is a known issue to us, and RPM Poker is pushing extremely hard for alternative withdrawal options.

To explain the check withdrawal process again...

The checks are processed by Merge on our behalf by a 3rd party. This means that the Merge Network handles RPM Poker's check requests, sends the request to a third party, and the third party sends your check.

The process is as follows:

1) The withdrawal request is lodged by the player.
2) Withdrawal requests are processed in bulk by the Merge Network on Tuesday and Friday for all network skins.
3) The request is sent to the 3rd party processor. This all takes about 5 working days.

If you are still waiting for a check from RPM, please contact me via PM.

Is there any chance of a bankwire option anytime soon? I actually enjoyed playing on RPM. I was ok with waiting four to five weeks because I knew about it in advance. Waiting twice what I was told is the longest it should take definitely sucks though.

Got my check today. The third party processor didn't print my check until the 22nd of January as said on the check. That's pretty crazy. I have no problems with RPM though. I do think the time frame they should give should be more accurate, because it makes the waiting less stressful. I will probably play on the site again and don't feel my money was in any danger at any point.

This is good to hear. We have Merge looking more deeply into the time delay for the checks, and we're finding that the 3rd party processor has really been dragging their feet on the printing and mailing.

This has become a top priority issue for the network, and it's being sorted out as quickly as possible. We thank you for bringing it to our notice, and we're glad that this forum is serving its purpose so we can help our users.

Finally received check on Feb 1st, almost 11 weeks after approved. I am relieved. RPMSeth did also personally call me as well this week which was refreshing. Still not sure I'm gonna play on this site again until they rectify the timeframe of the check deliveries though.

How do you think they pay for the never ending tournament overlays at Merge?

You request a withdraw through RPM which sends it to Merge which sends it to an interest bearing account handled by a third party & then they cut your check 6 to 8 weeks later and keep the interest on your winnings.

This is the only explanation for the time period it takes from "accepted" on RPM to "printed" at the bank.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

edit: Carbon is just as slow, this is a Merge problem not specifically RPM

It is a Merge-wide problem, not specific to RPM, but as I've said before, the holdup isn't directly Merge's fault either.

There was a big thread somewhere in the Internet Poker forum that explained the check withdrawal process from other online poker sites. There's a reason that you may receive checks faster from other sites, but that's because those sites are taking unnecessary risks with your money.

Merge uses processors that are verified and legal, and unfortunately... a bit slow. While Merge is aware of the problem, they're not interested in sending money to you through dodgy processors who a) may walk with it, or b) may have it intercepted.

While other solutions are sought out, I'll continue to urge our RPM players to pursue alternate withdrawal options if you need to access your money faster. Further, you can always PM me for help if necessary.

Best,
Seth
