min and max for a check?

The minimum is $100 and the maximum is $2500. If you need to withdraw more in one shot, we do have VIP withdrawal options available that you'll need to contact your VIP Host for.

Checks generally take around 10 days door to door.

I was just curious... It took my latest check an entire week just to be Approved. Plus, I've successfully withdrawn twice before, so it's not like you have anything to approve.

Do the 10 days start after the check is Approved, or after you actually click "Withdraw" in the cashier? Because I'm on day 10 starting from when I clicked "withdraw" but only 3 days since being approved.

By the way, I recently withdrew $100 from FTP on a Thursday Night and got it on a Saturday Morning. I know that's a small amount but it shows that even in this crazy post UIGEA world, FTP was able to do it in essentially 1.5 days. Now I know FTP isn't going to share its secrets with Merge, but it would really be nice if Merge could speed up checks by at least 1 order of Magnitude. If FTP can do it so can Merge.

Just curious, are checks couriered or mailed USPS?

Couriered

My latest check took 17 days, up from the last time of 13 days. It took a week just to have my check approved.

Please pick up the pace RPM. I've never gotten a check in 10 days. Ever. I'm thinking of moving to another network which pays in 2 days.

As I mentioned in the other thread, most checks will take around 2 weeks these days, and oftentimes come much more quickly than that.

The Merge Network does not take the same risks with your money that some other sites do, and we stand behind the network 100% when it comes to this payment processing solution. We'd rather have your checks take a little bit longer with a reliable check processor than use a processor who takes shortcuts. Speed is important, but keeping your money safe is top priority.

If you're looking for a quicker solution than paper checks for withdrawals, I'd recommend using an eWallet for your transactions.

You have ECheckUS available for deposits but not for withdrawals.

Why? Other sites have them for both.

There is only ONE ewallet left for Americans - UseMyWallet. I have an account there but I refuse to use it after Ewalletexpress went down. I am NOT going to maintain a balance in an Ewallet unless someday they legalize and regulate online poker. So you can see in my case why I want checks.

SovietRussia: I agree other sites can still do it why can't Merge?

That is the exception not the rule. I'm still waiting on a withdrawal from 1/23 and it was recently converted to a wire. So FTP is still having issues. Granted, some are receiving them quicker recently but they are definitely still having issues.

my 1.5 day thing was for like $100 . So maybe bigger transfers take longer. I figure smaller transfers go "under the radar" and are easier for them to "fake".

Why does it take more than a week every time for my check to be approved? It's getting kind of annoying since I've already cashed out 3 times by check.

Checks are slightly delayed at the moment, but are taking no longer than 3 weeks door to door. Just a little bit longer than our regular 2 weeks. Hang in there, it's getting back to normal.
02-12-2011 , 03:10 AM
Two weeks and my three figure check is still not approved. I don't call that a slight delay I call that a SIGNIFICANT delay.

All my other checks were in the same dollar range..they were approved within a week. What's the problem RPM?
02-12-2011 , 03:55 AM
cjc2 - We're aware there is a delay with checks. The delay is network wide, and Merge is actively working to fix this. I don't have much other information at the moment to share, and I just ask you to be patient while the issue is solved.
02-15-2011 , 05:48 PM
The "slight delay" is now 18 days since I made a withdrawal and I haven't had my check approved. I'm letting everyone know since I am always curious when I play at a new poker room how long their cashouts take. I've temporarily moved over to Player's Only because you guys are so slow now. PO never had any problems sending me checks. It's so bad that I'm playing at PO even though I don't get rakeback there but I do at RPM. So hope you guys get a Cashout Einstein real soon now!

The Merge Network processes transactions on behalf of all of the skins on the network, and the delay is network-wide. RPM, like each other skin on the network, is affected equally.

I'm sorry to hear you've moved... I hope you come back soon!

Don't like that either..i withdrew and lost mine also...I also am playing elsewhere until my withdraw is at LEAST prccessed and a new bonus is credited...the bonuses should just roll over if u have a few of them waiting to be applied.
