It was AA vs KJ suited, royal flush versus quad aces. Gross!

Ughhhhh I couldnt imagine it going to a luckier reg tha KiwiGreg, but I was wrong. Guess it isn't enough for that guy to run at like 15bb/100 over a million hands, he needs a BBJ too

KiwiGreg is definitely a regfish. Granted I don't have a ton of hands on the guy, but he's not good.

Agreed, but he's in Godmode 24/7 at MTTs

3 certainties in life: death, taxes, and me never getting a slice of the BBJ
09-22-2010 , 03:52 AM
Jeez, BBJ hit again, BBJ tables are gonna suck for awhile now when it's not even 10k
09-22-2010 , 04:49 AM
I kinda feel bad for whoever won this one.
Smallest ever.
Loser of the hand gest about a sixth of what the table share was for the big one.

Bam! It just hit again.

Brutali7er won $65659.86 when his K K was cracked by Achillies69's 8 6 at a 100nl FR table. They got it all in on a flop of 5 K 7, the turn was the 9 and the river K. Achillies69 received $32829.93. Players who were dealt into the hand and received $4689.99 each were: omfgDIEahhh, fd4mica, RePairMike, 3rdincome, ChipsAhoyMatey, UnderworldQueen, and Thanatosil106.

That was a big jackpot, too... almost $200k. Congratulations, Mike!
12-09-2010 , 08:26 PM

Congrats on your bbj winnings Mike! That dwarfs the $500 I just won for Merge's Snakes and Ladders promo. Nice to see my old nemesis Achillies69 winning a big chunk.

Fortunately for you regs, I have turned my attention back into the markets since the summer and I'd bet your win rates have ticked up some since then. I haven't really felt the itch for playing poker much anymore. It's been a very good trade off for my family and myself. Btw Mike, all in pf with AK vs a 4bet lagtard like me is likely behind :P Kidding aside, good luck at the tables and I hope you one day get the financial freedom you want. A little bit of gold/silver bullion makes for a good insurance policy.

Well, when you LRR around 25% of my isolations, I gotta think AK is good. Anyway, IIRC, once the cards were flipped up, I had like 30% equity, so I'm not too upset about it.

Lolol, I'm running so hot right now. Between hitting this BBJ table-share and running at 17bb/100 so far this month, I'm gonna be a baller in no time.

I also heard mike got staked by [Put name here] just a day before hitting the jackpot.

someone tell me this one hit at 6max so I can sleep tonight.
01-20-2011 , 08:48 PM
Looks like it did, nobody on 9max tables knew anything about it.

Hi all,

The Bad Beat Jackpot has been claimed once more and with only 5 players at the table it was a lucky thing too.

Player 'JhonB75' was the big blind and was dealt pocket 7's while player 'dojokid21' was dealt 6s 5s. 'dojokid21' raised pre-flop. Two other players folded but 'JhonB75' and one other called.

The flop was 3s, 7c and 4s giving 'dojokid21' a flopped straight with a chance at a straight flush. It also gave 'JhonB75' as set of 7's.
'JhonB75' checked the flop while 'dojokid21' led out with a modest bet.
The third player in the hand folded, but 'JhonB75' came right back with a raise that was called immediately.

The turn came and was the 7s giving 'dojokid21' his straight flush.
However it also gave 'JhonB75' quad 7's and there was no way either was getting away from their hands now. 'Jhonb75' bet out and was only called.

The river card was an inconsequential Kc. 'JhonB75' bet out and to call 'dojokid21' would have to go all-in which is exactly what he did. The hole cards were flipped and the players saw the damage. 'JhonB75's'
quads were trumped by the straight flush, enough to crush your spirit.
Until you realize that quad 7's is the lowest qualifying hand for the Bad Beat Jackpot!

For having his quads beaten, 'JhonB75' takes away a cool $162,000.45.

'dojokid21' scored $81,000.22 for his troubles while all the other players at the table received $27,000.07 just for being dealt in.

200nl six max.

I'm gonna quit FR for a while, so one less regfish for the rest of you to pick on.

GL with that Kang, NL200 6m games have been awful for awhile, dojo and jhon are probably the only regs that aren't winning 25/23/12 that 12-table it. Not saying to keep you out or anything, just saying GL, all the fish are at NL400
01-21-2011 , 10:10 AM
Dojo is actually a reg.

Oh, i meant the bbj hit at 200nl 6m, not that i'm going to play there, which i'm not, because that would be silly.
