05-20-2010 , 05:25 PM
I got a little bit more than $12k.

FWIW, these were the villains in the hand

millionhands1: J 9

BigNate53: 7 7

The board came:

7 8 T T 7

which site?
05-20-2010 , 05:28 PM
I was playing on RPM poker, but the BBJ is network-wide.
05-20-2010 , 05:32 PM
Nice.

I don't have a single hand on bignate53, so he's not a reg.
Was this 100NL or 200?

Also, are you repairmike?

It was at 100NL full-ring. I only have 277 hands on bignate53 in which he is 38/12/2.2, so he looks like a recreational player. And yes, you have indeed outed my screenname

Congrats Mike on the table share...glad to see another reg getting a piece of the BBJ. The dude that made the straight flush, millionhands1, sat in for 2mins 43secs and played just 5 hands before taking the money and running. BigNate53 was sitting at the table for a while and did get stacked on 2 occasions, but the 2nd time was well worth it.

What do my stats look like Mike? I don't use any software although I think I can afford them now. I'm guessing HEM has me as a donk :P

Clay, thanks for all the details.

I've got about 12k hands on you.

TBH, I can't figure you out at all.
Basically, I've never seen someone with preflop numbers like you be a decent winner over 10k hands. Except you. You must play awesome post flop I guess.

Wow 12k hands on me...that would narrow down who I think you are since I've logged about 83k hands since March. I'm stupid enough to manually count all my hands rather than buy HEM or PT3.

Anyhow, I think my postflop play is where my edge lies. However, I do have some leaks that I need to work on. If we clash in future pots, then don't feel bad crushing me since I have the BBJ winnings to subsidize losses.

+1

I used to think "Here is that fish, ClayDavis. EZ money." Except it didn't work out that way in practice. My HEM shows me up $17.73 on you over around 6k hands, which isn't very much at all. And I have you as being up $928 in total over those same 6k hands. I have you at 31% VPIP, 10% PFR and 1.5% 3-bet, which seem to be pretty fishy and passive stats. Whatever you're doing postflop seems to negate your passive preflop play, otherwise it's hard to explain your sucess.

Down $17.73 to you

I guess you've made some good adjustments against me since our early battles. Thanks for the stats line.

ClayDavis is a straight up donkey

Bignate was sitting at my 400NL FR game the night he hit it telling every1 how his day was going (cant blame him)......hope this continues...he was playing like 29/12/meh

Sweet, looks like he's donating it back to the community in small chunks at a time. Although, tbh, I wish he hung around $100NL for a while longer.
05-23-2010 , 03:07 PM
Ha, ClayDavis a 2p2er, never would have guessed it. I had you 41/4 for like 6k hands but still up money somehow but lately you've turned up the aggression. Mike, come on man, play higher stakes with this 12k, we don't need any more 15/12/4 TAGs at FR

Also I hate life considering I've logged 300k hands on the BBJ tables since they started and am the only reg to never get a piece, I freakin hate my life

Congratulations, sir.

I see a couple of regs got a piece, too. I know Occasio84 and BillyWilder2 (with whom I always have a bunch of leveling wars) are always at a bunch of our tables. I wish I didn't take a break at 3:30 this afternoon after a bad session.

In other news, according to HEM, I'm up $42.54 from you.

Hope you enjoy your $9.8k, and I'll go in the corner and play with my $42.54.

I gotta stop limp folding to you all the time!

Btw, just stack Billy a couple of times and the leveling wars should end.
06-26-2010 , 12:29 AM
oh fuuuuu....

normally I'm on every 100NL FR table.
this hit 20 minutes after I quit today

edit: an hour twenty actually, forgot about the server being one hour out.

Also Clay, if you are going to raise the flop with your set, you might as well bet the turn too.

I wasn't sure if you would've folded your AQ at the turn and I don't get another dime from you

9.8K for just being at the table???? how???? what kind of BBJ rules does carbon have?
06-26-2010 , 04:13 PM
Nice life, I've played 300k hands at BBJ tables and still no piece of it. Also left a 1-5 Stud table at FW on Wednesday and the BBJ hit on that 3 minutes later, seriously fml
06-27-2010 , 04:38 PM
FYI (based on my sample hand history for month of June)

200NL: $0.06476 per hand to the BBJ

100NL: $0.04646 per hand to the BBJ

I've payed $1984.50 to the BBJ in June
06-27-2010 , 10:44 PM
And...it's looks like it's only taken 2 days to hit again.

Get another piece Clay?
