Hello, I am posting this thread here to inform other players on the merge network and hopefully get some answers for myself.
Last night I created an account on Black Chip Poker and made a deposit of $100
Today I received these emails from Carbon Poker and RPM Poker
RPM POKER
After a routine review to your account information we noticed the physical address you provided us and the IP address your computer registered in our system do not match.
For this reason we would like you to let us know what the reason is for this discrepancy.

I sent these emails explaining the IP differences
"Hi, I spoke with RPMJon over live chat and informed him that I was using a Canadian VPN previously, he informed me this could create some problems for security to which I told him that I would stop using it, he said it would no problem if I stopped using it and I have stopped using it and will no longer use it. Thanks!"
to which I received this response from Carbon and RPM

At this point I have not received responses from Hero Poker or Black Chip Poker but my accounts are locked there as well.

RPMJon: [13:47] You can certainly respond to the email from security, however because of Merge protocol we are unable to discuss that directly.

RPMJon: [13:53] You can certainly do that if you would like. However, you have been banned by Merge Security for a violation of the terms and conditions and this will be the information presented to you if you decide to post on 2+2.
me: [13:54] i am assuming that it is due to the vpn, why was it that you informed me that if i stopped using the vpn (which i did as soon as i spoke with you) there would be no issue?

Once I receive emails from Hero and BCP I will also be posting them ITT, I have only received emails from RPM and Carbon, my Hero and BCP accounts were closed without the questioning emails that RPM and Carbon gave (asking about the IP address)
To clarify I have not used a VPN on RPM or Carbon in about 2-3 weeks (since I was informed that it was against the sites TOS, I was not using it to get around the terms - I am from a state that is allowed to create an account and play on the merge network) I have never used a VPN on BCP or Hero. RPMJon has told me that it has nothing to do with the VPN but I feel this is relevant information.
what you need here is the chat session you had with Jon where he says its ok and all, and then u stop and then u should be fine right? btw this will prob get deleted, and u should go to internet poker about this

I don't have the chat with Jon as it was nearly a month ago and I obv didn't expect anything like this to happen since I was told it wouldn't be a problem. In my latest chat with Jon (log posted ITT) he says this has nothing to do with the VPN.
he said it wasnt a VPN clearly in that sentence he wrote to you, so the convo you hd a month ago doesnt matter. They probably think you share your account or something if its being logged in from different places, so they refuse your business... email management and see what they say.. they should give an explanation
Your accounts on all Merge brands were closed by the Merge Gaming Fraud and Security team. Your accounts were not closed by Merge Gaming for your use of a VPN. Your RPM Poker account was closed as the result of a Merge Network investigation into your related accounts with all Merge Gaming brands. RPM Poker is not able to offer you further support in this matter.
Decisions by the Merge Gaming management team to permanently close accounts are not made arbitrarily. These management decisions are final and not in RPM Poker's control. You can direct any correspondence regarding this matter directly to the Merge Gaming Fraud and Security team. If you have funds and/or outstanding issues with your accounts on other Merge Gaming brands, we would recommend contacting them directly.
