Okay, first of all, let me give you a little background. I signed up with Full Tilt through rakebacklovers back in September 2009.

I turned over well over a thousand dollars from Sep09 through to Dec09. In Dec09 I wondered why I had received no rake at all. I then emailed RBL and asked them about this twice and was fobbed off twice.

Yes I had not accounted for the first deposit bonus, fair enough but after that, the rest should have been achieving rake, should it not? So I then posted the question in the RBL section on 2+2, in the same thread as another person with the same problem.

RBL very quickly and politely got back to me and then took the conversation to PM. Not fully understanding the situation i continued it in the forum. Eventually I was told I would receive $125.45 in Jan2010, this was on the 29th of December and at that point, smelling a rat I ceased topping up my account on Full Tilt.

A few days ago, I received a email from Full Tilt telling me that RBL had deposited $4.03 into my account!!! That is the only payment I have ever received from rakebacklovers.

Yes you read that correctly 4 bucks, since the 18th of September 2009 and that is after deposting/loosing/turning over 1600 dollars.( I checked this with full tilt cashier history)

Now as sad as this may be, the worst thing I have noticed is that it seems to happen to A LOT of people.

There are MANY posts on RBL section of this forum about people not receiving rakeback. Now I did not, well have still not really, apart from 4 dollars recieved ANY rakeback from RAKEBACK LOVERS until I made a post about it.

I have been watching the threads the last couple of months and people are always coming in saying "Where is my rake?", then the representative says whats your user name?, the next reply is usually oh, yeah that was paid today or it should be in there or some other feeble excuse.

In other words, i believe that RAKEBACKLOVERS ARE KEEPING PEOPLES MONEY UNLESS THEY ARE SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR IT PUBLICLY. Now this is wrong and needs to be investigated.

Am I making this up? Below are some links , including mine which I will place on top where people are saying "Where is my money?". The links I have gathered are from the last 3 pages worth only, I am sure there are more....

I have noticed 3 standard responses so far from RBL -

1. We are waiting on the affiliate
2. No reason given just - Oh yeah that's now been paid
3. We are currently updating/changing/setting up our payment system

Please also kEep in mind I have not posted this in the Rakebacklovers section because I think the wider community needs to be aware of this.

Finally, Rakebacklovers, what say ye?

Am I simply mistaken and myself and all of these other people who have not been paid rake really have nothing to question?

And what about the potentially thousands of others who signed up but never checked there accounts, whats the go with them, is it a case of, we will keep their rake until until they ask for it publicly?

Is your book-keeper that bad or do they just suffer from memory loss?

Rakebacklovers and web poker source are the best two affiliates I've used.

i have never had any problems with rakerebate.net, had FT rakeback there for several years

you don't love rakeback, do you?

I have used rakeback lovers. Ran into some problems and confusion but their support on the forum here has been good. Definitely do not think they are purposely scamming people.

First and foremost Rakeback Lovers have never scammed any players, we are a serious company with thousands of active customers.

We have calculated the rakeback different than some other affiliates because we have not had as good commission as them. As a new affiliate you will in the beginning receive a 25% commission and can work up until you get a higher commission. Because of this, we have until January 1st made all deductions from the rakeback and not from the rake which have been written on our site.

This have been changed and is now calculated from the net rake. We where able to change it because we got a better deal with FTP.

Thanks a lot. I have checked your account now and you got deducted for several things. But mostly from the first deposit bonus. This bonus was deducted from your rakeback. You were also deducted for the transaction fees when you deposited money into the site. However like we stated in the earlier message we have changed our calculations for Full Tilt Poker rakeback. Bonus: $30 (This could be deductions, bonuses for example or deposit deductions. We list everything under this bonus column)
Rakeback: $3.8715 (The rakeback you will receive from the rake) What do you mean by that? The rakeback I will recieve? Again, I have recieved a grand total of 4 dollars and 3 cents after 4 months of playing??????

In your case you raked $125,45 and got deducted $30 so you received $3,8715 in pure rakeback from that month but you received part of your first deposit bonus aswell. This bonus is deducted from your rakeback. But you got 27 % in total back anyway. ????????

You were deducted following the past months;

$140 from the first deposit bonus

$5,94 in player added (Money we have to add to tournaments. For example, if there is a $10,000 guarantee tournament and we only get enough buy-ins for $9,000, we split the remaining $1,000 by the players in the tournament.)

$57 in player fees (Transaction fees when players deposit money onto the site. )

I will also send you a detailed document from our reports so you can directly see all the deductions.

Yes you have received 4 dollars and 3 cents in rakeback after 4 months, but you have got a bonus of $140 in totalt. You have to once again understand that this bonus is deducted from your rakeback.

$30 + $3,8715 = Around 27 %.
