Just fyi, Kasparov would be insulted if you called him an Azeri. His mother is Armenian, and they lived in Baku (which is the capital of Azerbaijan). In 1990, when the USSR broke down, there were anti-Armenian riots in Baku with a lot of people killed (later there was a war, and Armenia and Azerbaijan are bitter enemies even today). Kasparov and his family had to flee the country (like hundreds of thousands other people there) and went to Moscow.

The event in 2011 will likely be split with another location, because Aronian (who is Armenian) will not play in Azerbaijan.

yah, after some of those moves, Curtains is giggling like a kid making fun of a patzer - veddy amusing -

I have greatly enjoyed the live (or post game analysis like this uninformed) where you hear the commentators go all crazy like sports broadcasters on that move
