I've tried playing on chess.com but I really can't stand their UI: it breaks all the time when I'm using it and is visually pretty bad.


Lichess unfortunately doesn't have bughouse


Is there somewhere better with active traffic?

FICS is probably the only other place to try

ICC supports bughouse but it's totally dead there

FICS for Bughouse

ICC for Chess960 (they actually have a Chess960 pool, which will allow you to find a game pretty much anytime)
