Thanks. OK so no looking at anything even databases. Very well then. I assume I'm allowed to refer back to my own spoilers.
2.... d5
Spoiler:
I am typically pleased when my opponent plays crazed opening moves like f4, looking for all hell to break loose. I however seem to always lose to KGA and this method of declining leads to a more open game and hopefully will get us out of book fastest which is always my opening strategy. I really hope he doesn't play 3. d4. I hate that.
BTW, if this gets into a time scramble, I'm totally gonna start opening as many windows of this forum I can with every response to every single anticipated move, and will send out the appropriate response the INSTANT yours goes out

lol really hopin for 3. d4 now
lol @ insta post replies.
Doesn't the forum make you wait 15 seconds in between 2 of your own posts!?!?
DANGIT! I normally like KGA or one of the more passive KGD. I have a lot of trouble against this response. The standard, and only response to 2...d5 i believe is 3. exd5. After 3.exd5 I've seen a few responses from black 3...e4, 3...c6, 3...exf4. I hope for 3...e4 as I'm more familiar with it.

lol! Better manage your time so you don't go through all that.
I don't know this line at all, although I've played it a few times in blitz games. I remember dxc6 being ok, but if black doesn't take the pawn back (by playing ...Bc5 or something) then cxb7 is really dangerous(even though white is up two pawns).
The only other move I see is 4.Nc3, which involves alot of analysis and I don't want to spend too much time analyzing.
After 4.dxc6, black has ...Nxc6 ...Bc5 and ...exf4. At first look, I'd reply with Bb4, Nf3 , and Nf3 respectively.
I play 4. dxc6
game so far: 1.e4 e5 2.f4 d5 3.exd5 c6 4.dxc6
In fairness to my opponent I read smilingbills spoiler assuming it was some kind of joke about my diagrama gaffe. So grashopper you can read it too i guess?, not that important of a comment.
As for the board, please IMAGINE that e pawn is a c pawn. thanks, lol
