A friend of mine was a good chess player as a child and recently he rediscovered his scorecard (?) of a game he played against someone who went on to much greater prominence in the UK chess scene.

I want to play through this game but do not have a chessboard or chess pieces.

I downloaded some freeware which does everything one can imagine but does not allow you to just play through a game by being both sides of it.

Does anyone know of a program or site that does that?

Much obliged.
