does anyone know a site where i can play Very Very easy chess online? i am brand new to it.

Any site. There are countless beginners and very casual players on all the sites.

I'd recommend ICC, but you would have to purchase a membership after 2 weeks. You can get a free trial at PlayChess as well. Failing all that, there's FICS.

Yahoo Games has a lot of easy competition. FICS is good but you might not find a lot of players of your standard.

The quality of players on ICC is very high. Yahoo Chess is much easier. If you're brand new you will get killed regardless of where you play. The best thing to do is buy a beginner's book and a computer program. Superb chess programs can be obtained for around $10.

QFT. Yahoo players still know all sorts of opening move tricks that you'll fall for and get very angry about. But that'll just motivate you to get better.
