How did that escape you? He's an obnoxious **** in pretty much every interview ever. Even if I wanted to (which I don't really, what with Wijk and Gibraltar on, and there's only so much chess one can watch), I couldn't bring myself to listen to this **** for hours on end on the Women's WC broadcast, which (as is par for the course for official FIDE stuff of course) also happens to be the worst broadcast from a production value perspective. Anyone know how puzzle battle ratings compare to strength?

I just hit 2200 in puzzle battle and I think it's pretty good but I dont know if that format has inflated ratings

I think I just expanded my mind!

I'm playing a fun King's Gambit game that actually went to plan... got a development tempo and a pretty sharp attack going.

Then I came across this position that seemed really complicated, and I stared at the board for 30-45 actual minutes spread across my day at work on my chess app.

I came up with a move I was happy with, then ran that position with Stockfish, and it agreed with me!

I think it might make for an interesting puzzle for all you sharps.

It's not necessarily going to give you an accurate chess rating. It might be in the ballpark, or it might not. Puzzle battle rating applies to puzzle battle.
