A couple of chess Youtubers (ChessWhiz TV and Jerry aka ChessNetwork) have already made videos about it!

Spoiler about ChessNetwork's game:
Spoiler:
Amazing queen sac!!! (Though it was unintentional, lol.) Does it really work?

His Rb6!! was also spectacular

Spoiler:
I think 7... Rb8 and Qa8 later was a more stubborn defense for Black, or am I missing something? It seems that Jerry would have got his king to the 7th but never broken the Q+R battery on the 8th with his queen missing. The thing is that, had Jerry played Rxb1, Black could have recaptured with the knight, not having to take his other rook off the 7th.

I guess this game is appropriate for a BBV thread. A pretty funny swindle I pulled off. I figured that if his choice of which piece to take is random (which is a reasonable assumption at my playing strength ), then I have a 66% chance of winning the game.

That's a nice example of probabilistic thinking in a deterministic game

actually I thought 7...Rxg7 8. Kxg7 and now 8...Qa8. It's pretty scary because the White king is nearly at the end, but I don't see a way through and you are a lot of material up. I think White's best is something like 9. Rxb1! Nxf2! (not 9...Nxb1? 10. Nd4! threatening Ne6-f8 or Bc4-g8 10...Bd5 11. Bg2! and wins) 10. Nd4 11. Bd5 Bg2 12. Rb5 Ba2 13. Rf5! and White wins. What is instructive in this line is 1) how hard it is to cover h8 (you need to have your bishop already on b2 before the White king gets there, or get a knight to g6) and 2) how in the final position, Black would prefer a rook to a queen on a8 (Ba3 would save him at least for now). Queen and rook in that order is the killer battery, that's why White has to take the rook on b1 instead of trying to make Rf6-f8 work 9. Rf6 should fail to 9...Rb8 followed by Bb2 or Nxf2.

I know of a ~2100 player who often referred to a game he played when he was a junior where he won by putting a third piece enprise when 2 were under attack in the hope the opponent took the wrong one, pretty much like that game

Brag: won my club's open tournament, getting my name on a sweet trophy that features many of the country's best players.

Variance: in the crucial last round game I played a remarkable opening, with sixteen consecutive half-moves by our respective desperado knights. I didn't find the right moment to break the symmetry and ended up in a lost, and still symmetrical position after move 15. My young FM opponent let the win slip, however, and I escaped with a draw and won the title in a blitz playoff.

Increased my FIDE rating by 186 points from 1 tournament, it's still not where it should be but it's headed in the right direction.

Also I'm playing in the Melbourne chess club championship, even though it's a 2 hour trip each week and cuts into my sleep due to my work schedule. Never the less I played someone 337 points higher rated thn me in the first round and won

brag: won the EPT chess and poker mixed tournament ahead of a bunch of titled chess players and poker pros. First poker tournament I've played in 5 years, but I've still got it.

How did it work? Extra chips for those who did better in chess rounds?

Yeah exactly. 5 round 10+2 Swiss, then a NLH tournament. 10k starting stack + 2k per point scored in the chess.

I was expecting I might be one of the top seeds and most players would be novices at either chess or poker. I couldn't have been more wrong. The ratings weren't shown and I only recognised IM Lawrence Trent and WGM Jen Shahade, but there were several more IMs and FMs among the 30 players, most of whom have converted to poker. I scored 3.5 in the chess part, starting with a win over IM Vallo Laidla and a loss to FM Thomas Lendhart. Any random $200 freezeout would have been better value, but where's the bragging rights in that?

Jen organised it and is fantastic in person. The only failing is it didn't attract many local chess players - I think they could have advertised it better to the chess community.

Doing well in the Melbourne chess club championship I've been playing in. Now I'll be getting to play an IM for the first time in a classical game next week.
Also in a few weeks I'll lay Nigel short in a simul
