My two sons (identical twin boys - aged 17) just got 2nd place in bughouse at the Scholastic Nationals taking place in Dallas this weekend.
They were undefeated going into the final round, but, lost to a team they claim they are better than. (just so you understand....they have NEVER met anyone they thought was better than they are at the scholastic level LOL....Oh the ego of youth!) They actually played the champs again after the tourney....switched partners because they felt they would have an advantage that way and played a bunch of games, and beat them every game!!!
Anyway, I don't post here in the Chess forums, since I do not play the game......but just wanted to share with some of you that could probably appreciate the accomplishment.
Thanks for listening.

support their career.
i was a wunderkind
learned the rules at 12, at 15 i defeated 4x3 (in 7 games that year in different tournaments one of them even in another city) a very experienced adult 50 years old rated 2283 FIDE but plays in same level till nowadays(he is still 2250 at 65 and very active) also i was 6th place in brazilian under 15 ch
(undefeated[but 3 draws] and joint with a guy[he was 5th] that just got his first GM norm 1 week ago - 9 years later)
but my parents never cared about chess, they wouldnt even pay 25$ inscription in a important tourney in my city, and even forbid me to play when i turned 16
and bughouse = chess. why not?
