Feel like Game Changer is the one that'll be the most interesting bedtime reading.

I recall i had improve your chess now when I was a kid and it was very good. I don't think like a tree and that always bothered me!

I vote 1953 as I have it though the typeface is terrible on it. But mainly I would like u to read it to feedback on it!

Well the feedback of pretty much everyone is to read Zurich 1953 lol - so not sure why you're waiting for mine .

More than 1 people voted so far. The forum isn't completely dead...I really thought there was a chance at just you voting .

Still only 4 people voting. Ok, so it seems 4 other people read the forum still. That's a start!

I should update this. Game Changer won after 4 votes relatively early on (and no more votes after that). I've been reading it. The general things to take away from AlphaZero's game are exactly what I've been lead to believe. Since I beta-tested the chessable version I also am pretty sure I skimmed some of it a couple of years ago too.

I'm not looking at things super in-depth but am at least trying to follow Sadler's analysis and points. Man, he really does a great job explaining what AlphaZero is up to in these games. They really are wild and almost incomprehensible until many moves later when it's finally clear wtf AZ is doing. It's kind of sad/funny to see Stockfish just not getting the point but drawing most of the time anyway.

I know most of these books, my fav would be Chess for Zebras (amazing read). Have you read Move First, Think later by Willy Hendriks? I´m sure it´s the book you will most laugh out loud with most of all of chess literature, plus it makes some excellent points.

I have not read Willy Hendriks at all but I know of that book. I will look into it - have you read his newest one that came out this summer on chess history?

Not yet, but the reviews are not as good as for the first book, which won, I believe, BCF Book of the Year. Hendriks is an original, serious and funny author and a decent player himself with many years of experience as a chess trainer.
