I'm not sure about these. Look at Rozentalis' game. Do You see the same 28. Rg8+? I doubt this is the move he made

Yeah, the site is overloaded, games from the OPEN section are screwed up in a lot of places. Woman section works perfectly fine though

Well at least Naka's game was fun.

The game between Chieh-Sheng Jason Lin (Chinese Taipei) and Emre Can was pretty cool. It was one of the few upsets I could find.
Norway's second board (without Magnus) lost to someone from Jamaica.

The only upset win for a team was Belgium (2394) beating Tajikistan (2436) 2.5-1.5 but their ratings were so close so it probably shouldn't count.

Another interesting result was IPCA's 2nd and 4th boards (both IMs) drawing against unrated players from Nigeria.

Gundavaa-Nakmaura

It appears that the 2460 rated Gundavaa declined a route towards a 3 rep on move 38 with f4-f5. After this Naka just smashes him.

Gata Kamsky had a brutal attacking win. 1-0 in 34 moves.

The Naka game was weird; I liked White's position at certain points. Can't blame him for going all out. Kamsky game was great.

Looks like lots of upsets this round:
Israel vs Indonesia 2-2... Sutovsky and Mikhalevsky drew, and Smirin lost to a 2400.
Bulgaria lost to Croatia.
Azerbaijan lost to Vietnam :-O
Bosnia & Herzegovina beat England (Adams lost on first board to Sokolov)
Slovenia drew France.

Carlsen's game http://ugra-chess.com/liveboard?game...1&ln=en&tmnt=1
He makes it look so easy.

comp says 39.Qd5+ Kf8 (or Kh8) 40.Qxc5 is +3,5 for White. Shame considering how creatively he played for the whole game.

and Naka wins of course.

They don't have a full standings list? Only top 5 on a left and round parings? At least I can't find it...

Carlsen lost! It looks so easy to defeat Nº1 player

http://ugra-chess.com/liveboard?game...1&ln=en&tmnt=1

Did he resigned or lost on time? He could've taken the pawn with the knight.....

But then can't white play something like Nh6+ and Rf5 winning the knight?

Thats what I thought at first, but Nh6+ Kg7 Rf5 Kg6 seems to be a draw to me.

rybka doesn't offer any improvement, it wants to exchange into a drawn ending as quickly as possible. i'm guessing the position is wrong though, since Black's last move is a huge blunder

Apprantly the move was Kg2 instead of Ke4.
