If itīs written for īusī, definitely a different approach. The game analysis arenīt bad or anything, itīs just that Iīm sure most stronger players have like fifty books full of them at home, written by -with all due respect- more qualified authors. The casual player doesnīt "get" the annotations and the īgeneral audienceī couldnīt care less. Iīd vouch for a more story/anecdote oriented approach or stuff written for poker players who are interested in chess but not not necessarily looking to spend a couple of hours playing through variations.

The games chosen so far has been very well known and they have all been analysed by far better players than Pierre before.
But honestly I rarely find anything readable in 2+2 mag anyway.
There isnt much NL-holdem or PLO cashgame content.
